As such, they will accept the normal UG series reducer, but the length of the reducer will exceed the length of the shaft of the connector by a little bit unless you use a reduced length reducer as well. Well made connectors
These PL-259 connectors are well made. I've been using them to fabricate RG-213 and RG-8A/U cable sections for amateur radio use. The fit and finish are quite good, the sleeves fit properly without binding on the threads, the bakelite center insulator looks clean and smooth. These connectors also take solder better than any other PL-259s that I have used, including some of the spendy name brands that everyone knows.My only initial concern was that they have just two holes for soldering to the coax shield, instead of the four holes that most PL-259s have, but that has not proven to be a problem.Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.
