Wonderful pair of shoes
I've only received them today, but right out of the box I can see real quality. I wear a 12M, and when you see shoes in a store they usuall display a 7 or 8 that looks very pleasing. When it gets to the boat size of 12, they almost always look like different shoes, with all of the accompanying mars, discolorations, and glue marks. Not so here. This is a really nice boot. And I couldn't believe it when I put them on. Truly comfortable on both feet. I was a bit hesitiant about ordering shoes online, but Amazon really came through on this one. In fact, I learned something. These shoes were never tried on before- as far as I can tell. No little knotty balls of someone else's socks in the shoe lining, and no sloppily packed box with laces array and paper strewn. This was new. I liked that. This could become a habit. I do have another pair of shoes coming from Amazon, and if they are presented as well as these, I'm in to a whole new way of buying shoes.

Fantastic Work & Walking Boot
I liked these work boots so much I bought them for my husband and neighbor ! They have a stabilizing effect that helped me through knee problems. My husband wears nothing else at this point, having worn many other top brands. My neighbor was having serious health problems and could not fit shoes on his swollen feet so I gave him a pair in extra wide and he was back on his feet and active again in no time. I use them around the Farm and they as comfortable, waterproof and sturdy. They are good looking and quality leather, too. Thank you for stocking wide sizes for those of us who are not average. They work for women, too. They are very much a work boot, though.

Excellent for the widest foot
Most boots only come in 5E maximum width. In this boot, the 9 6E was perfect for me. By way of comparison, I am usually an 8 1/2 6E in a dress shoe or sneaker, and normally find a 9 5E boot is not wide enough, but a 9 1/2 boot is too long. This boot was perfect, and fit with either a thin sock or even a heavy sock. While the leather is soft, I did find the need for some break-in before I could wear all day, as I have vericose veins on my ankle. However, after a few short walks, the boots were fine. I wore them while walking around London 12 plus hours at a time and had no problems or issues. If you have trouble getting a wide enough boot grab these while you can!

Pretty good wide shoe
I wear between 11.5 6E and 12 6E. I bought these in 12 6E. Some 12 6E shoes are too long for my feet, but these are fine. The 6E width is wide enough for me. The brown color is much lighter than shown, and I don't like the look all that well. I walk a bit over a mile each way to work and back and the inside sole is quite hard. The shoes seem to be waterproof which is what I needed as winter ended and the snow melted, producing extended puddles between the snowbanks on either side of the sidewalk. Things are dry again and I switched back to a pair of New Balance walking shoes, model 927, and the 927s are like walking in pillows. One odd thing about the Addison is the length of the tongue; it is quite short, and when I tie the laces the tongue is barely long enough to extend under the knotted laces. So not my favorite shoes, but they are wide enough, a good length, and waterproof, so warrant 4 stars.

Super comfy super durable
The BEST work boot i have ever owned. I dont work construction, i work on an rv lot in rain mud and gravel, also i work inside with clients, RUGGED AND PROFESSIONAL LOOKING. Also i want to mention i went through ordering, rockports, ecco, ugg and skechers. These were the most comfortable other than the skechers, but these are true waterproof and durable as well. The whole tounge review on these shoes dont bother me, it went away after 2hrs. Never felt it again. I wear a 12 and my feet are flat, best shoe for me.

Squeaky and a bit loose in the toe area. Also the rollbar imprint at the heel fell off
We have over half a dozen Dunham shoes and so far this is the most disappointing (not as highly rated as the others). I have worn it over 25 times in the last year since its purchase. Here are the following reasons why it deserves only a 3 and not a 4 or 5 on the rating scale.1) The sole on the right shoe was defective to begin with. It was slightly bulging on the front step, the rubber had excess material so it looks deformed when viewed from above. I thought it had nothing much to do with the walk, until2) it started squeaking after half a year of use. I suspect it could be the insole but it squeaks on any smooth surface, lesser if carpet or soil. The squeak is annoying enough to draw attention when walking inside offices or the mall.3) The Rollbar support (the one with the imprint) on the heel detached less than a year of use, and I stuck it back with Shoe Goo but it still came off. As a result, the cushioning isn't as good anymore and the squeaking got worse.4) the ankle area isn't padded well enough, so when you tighten the shoelaces it constricts the blood flow in the veins of the ankle5) the toe area (size EE) is wider than expected. I have another Dunham Chukka (similar construction but low cut) which is D width and it's slightly tight. What I would need is something in between these two widths and it would be perfect fit in the toe area.Having said that, this is still a good shoe. Its winning qualities are that 1) it's waterproof 2) thick leather 3) comfortable except for the squeak. I just wasn't as lucky as I noticed the flaws immediately after opening but I couldn't return it (I am based abroad so the return window has lapsed). That's why I select shoes carefully since I don't have the return window opportunity (it takes over a month to ship this abroad from my USA address). And the Dunham brand has generally been better than most other casual shoe brands, and at par with Clarks and Rockport, though more reasonably priced.
