IMUSA 13.5in Carbon Steel Nonstick Round Comal with Metal Handles, Black

I bought 2 of these. The first one worked well. I used it for warming tortillas, cooking scrambled eggs and grilled sandwiches. It should not be used on high heat. It worked well until I tried to cook a seasoned fish fillet. The seasoning stuck to the surface even though I had used a cooking spray. I ruined the finish trying to clean off the stuck seasoning. It was my fault for having the heat to high. I ordered a replacement because I did like warming tortillas on it. I recommend keeping the heat on medium and sticking to things like tortillas, pancakes grilled sandwiches. I wonder how many people that gave a 1 star review actually read the instructions. The instructions are clear to not use high heat or dip in water while hot.

The product is not so good, its extremely thin, the teflon wore out pretty quick, it burn out even with low heat in an electric stove so the food stuck and burn. Ot is not so light weighted. When the teflon heats has a horrible smell. Thought it was me, that i had made a mistake for it to burn and bought another follow instructions carefully but no still the same. Never buying this brand again.

Warms the tortillas without burning them or making them too crispy. Great item to have if you love tortillas!

This pan is great for heating tortillas which is what we bought it for. Nonstick, works great. The one drawback is as it gets hot it instantly warps - it doesn't sit flat when it's hot and thus spins and turns as you put things on and off it. When it cools off, it's back to laying perfectly flat. We'll continue to use it, but that is one thing that drives me crazy when using it. When it warps, it creates uneven heating - the middle is super hot while the outside edges aren't as hot so it doesn't heat evenly. But not worth the hasssle of sending back so we'll continue to use it.

Good product. Unfortunately I put a plastic container while still hot. So we ruined our product...so sad

I use it for warming tortillas.

I bought this so I can heat up my tortillas. When it arrived it looked promising. But unfortunately when I put it to the test it did not do what I was expecting it to do. When I put it on my stove it started smoking as if it had something on it. And when I put on my tortillas on top of it they would stick to it and they would easily burn. Do I think it’s a good product? I mean if you’re looking to make tortillas on it I would say no. But if it’s just for something light then yes it’s a good product. For me it’s not the greatest. Because it heats up and unevenly. And everything gets stuck to it. I like the size of itAnd also I just noticed that It is starting to lose its shape. I believe it’s because of the heat I don’t think it’s made with good materials.

I use it pretty much just to warm my tortillas because I hate to put them in the microwave and it works perfectly.It's not thick so it warms fast.

Debes de saber que es de hierro fundido, las malas reseñas son porque NO CONOCEN EL MATERIAL!Recuerda que debes curarlo y en caso de que algo se pegue solo pon aceite que se queme se cura y queda como nuevo!

Der Stahl ist zu dünn. Einmal erhitzt und es ist verzogen,verfärbt und buckelig, nicht mehr eine plane Fläche! Das Stahlblech müsste doppelt so stark sein( mindestens!!), um sich nicht zu verformen.Die Griffe sollten nicht Wärmeleitend sein! Man verbrennt sich!

This was bought for my mexican dishes that I cook. Excellent quality and great price too!
