Prima Guide for open for Business
I preordered the sims 2 game and the book at the same time I got them a day before they said it would be shipped the book is very good at explaining the business side I would recommend this to everyone to learn to pay this game better. It explained Badges employees get which make they better employers. Gave you the new building options like spilt levels, tells you all the new objects can't wait to build Servo (I missed him in from the old sims). Funny servo can woo hoo with other servo or with sims HAHA. So if you get the chance pick up the book it will make you a better employer. Also I think Amazon is great I ordered every sims 2 game on here and always got it on time :)

The guide is much smaller than I thought!
While I am happy that the guide gives me the pertinent information that I need for the game, I am unhappy about the size of the guide. You basically would need a magnifying glass to read half of what is in this little book. When I ordered this book, I thought that I was getting a full sized one. Lesson learned.

OFB Paperback Guide Disappointment
While I knew it was going to be a small paper back version, I did not realize how small the print was going to be. If I had I would have passed on it. It is just too hard to read.

Must have!
This guide is a must for the OFB Expansion Pack. I wish I would have gotten it a long time ago.

Very informative and worth the money!
The Sims 2: Open for Business is a more complex expansion pack than any of the previous ones, so this guide would definitely be something to consider even if you didn't purches ones for University or Night Life. This guide includes...Chapter 1 - What's New in The Sims 2 Open for BusinessChapter 2 - Shopping DistrictsChapter 3 - Talent BadgesChapter 4 - Owning and Running a BusinessChapter 5 - Anatomy of a CustomerChapter 6 - Business Rank and PerksChapter 7 - Workforce RelationsChapter 8 - Business Types: Retail & ServicesChapter 9 - Business Types: RestuarantChapter 10 - Business Types: VenuesChapter 11 - New ObjectsChapter 12 - New SocialsChapter 13 - Kid StuffChapter 14 - Build Mode AdditionsChapter 15 - Tour of Bluewater VillageChapter 16 - Cheats***Review from older expansion packs and The Sims 2Chapter 17 - Jobs by Career LevelChapter 18 - ObjectsChapter 19 - SocailsThis guide is definitely not mandatory as most aspects of the new expansion pack can be figured out through trial and error. However, if you want to save yourself some frustration, I would suggest spending the $12. This guide does reveal some very important aspects about businesses and customers that it is helpful to know before starting a business. All in all, this is a very informative guide, and I give it 5 stars for quality and quanity! Although, this is not a must.Recommended to those who want an early edge.

Useful, but no Big Surprises
The Prima Guides are very helpful when one first get a new expansion pack. But after a quick read through and a couple references later, the guide dosen't really have the big answers to the big questions.

Didn't Receive It Either!
I pre-ordered this book on Feb. 23. Every time I checked my order status, it still read "pre-order ... delivery date of March 3 or 4, 2006". Even on March 3, it still said that, and my credit card still hadn't even been charged for it.I canceled the order - Amazon had the cheapest price, but it's not worth the savings if you don't actually get it! You'd be better off just walking into your local store and buying it there. The book itself is probably an excellent guide, as all the Prima Guides are - but Amazon's handling of this is terrible. If an item still isn't available by the promised delivery date, they should at least say so!

Over 35
To the reviewer who complained about the font. I'm 42 and can read the guide just fine. Please do not lump people over 35 with you, evidently you have bad eyesight, and that's not Prima's fault. Definately buy this guide no matter what age you are!

Good!
Smaller then I had hoped. As pictured. Good construction.

Good!
Exactly as pictured. The movable compartments are slightly flimsy and i have to use the flower ornaments as a tab to pull down the board that covers the necklace compartment. The mirror is also unclear because of all the fuzz that got stuck onto it and I can't seem to clean it off. With all of that said the product is great! The compartment are exactly what i need and allows me to store my dainty jewellery and a watch neatly. The outside of the case is very cute!

Lovely gift for mom
My mom loves her jewelry and always uses multiple pouches when travelling. I bought this so she could keep all her rings, earrings, necklaces, and bracelets in one place. The compartments are great for keep things organized and tangle free. The box is small and discrete enough that she can keep it hidden in her purse.
