First things first. The product is advertised wrongly. Binoculars are correctly specified with 2 numbers. For example, 10x50 means it is a 10x magnification, and has a 50mm objective. If it is a zoom binoculars, it will have one more number, e.g., 10-100x50 means it has a zoom magnification from 10x to 100x, and has a 50mm objective. In this case, the product is incorrectly advertised as 15-180x100, implying it has zoom from 15x to 180x, and has a 100mm objective which would be fantastic for astronomy applications. The true specification is probably 15-180x50, i.e., it has a 50mm objective. Second about the packing: I received a crushed box in a yellow envelope - the paint had flaked off inside and it had scratches (perhaps a returned product). Third about the binocular quality: The optics are not at all up to the mark. Even images in bright sunlight are dull at smallest magnification, and cannot be made as sharp as desired. Perhaps thanks to the packaging disaster, I got an out of collimation binoculars. Additionally, the exit pupil was quite small, and it was difficult to get a full image, without the black boundaries swimming into view.
