This nifty little beach combo was nicer than expected. The blanket is definitely big enough for two - it is made out of 'tent' material. I tested it with water and it did repel the water quite well, however if the water sits it will leak through; think tent material. I did not test sand / dirt but with the tent material I am confident that it will be a breeze to shake off. The pillow is made of a real thin material and it is very comfy. Both are very compact as advertised and exactly what I was looking for - I will always be ready for a sit in the park, at the beach or star gazing.My original order did not have the pillow so I contacted the seller- the pillow arrived within 3days. They included their water-proof phone case.I have a couple of these and they are very handy. However, this has a really neat feature that I have not seen before. There is an external headphone jack so that you can keep your phone protected but still listen to music or talk without removing the phone from the case. I can see that that would be great for a rainy or boating day but have not tested it while phone is submerged. Kind of scared because the external jack is not rubberized so I probably won't test that. However, if you have one without a jack and are boaters I sure recommend one for the convenience of NOT having to remove the phone to every time you want to use it.

I loved these products. Both the blanket and pillow were of amazing quality and very comfortable. It makes camping and the beach much easier. You don't have to worry about sand and bugs getting all over your blanket. I'd recommend this to anyone!

Great for picnics, laying on picnic benches to keep your pants clean. Terrific for beach days. Camping. Easy to keep in car or on luggage. Weight not a problem. Transporting plants to protect your cars carpet a bonus.

Loved it! Used it on a recent trip to Niagara Falls to sit on the grass.. It's nice and compact and easy to use. No hassle carrying it. Also washed it without a problem. Don't expect waterproof.

Such a handy blanket! The oversized blanket is easily big enough for a picnic, yet it weighs virtually nothing and rolls down into it's own bag that's about the size of a sunglass case. We do a lot of camping and four wheel drive day trips where we stop to picnic for lunch, but don't usually bring chairs. I love that this takes up virtually no room and yet is a generous sized blanket when placed on the ground. The case has a carabiner already attached and ready to hook to your belt loop, backpack, etc. Each corner of the blanket has a well attached loop made of nylon cord and a set of four stakes is included to stake the blanket down. In addition there are triangle pockets at each of the four corners that would be super easy to place boulders or other heavy items in if you couldn't stake it down for some reason. When I first saw this I immediately thought about how much we could use it as a blanket, but it also crossed my mind that it could very easily be used as shade if need be, too, by simply hooking the corner loops to a tree branch, the top of our jeep, whatever. This would be a godsend if the jeep needed trail repairs where there were no natural shade! Heck, it could even be used as a lean to type shelter if we got stuck out on the trail overnight. It really is a versatile blanket. Being nylon, not only does it fold down small and weigh very little, but it's super easy to clean - dirt just shakes off. If you needed to spot clean it or if it got drenched somehow (rain shelter?) it would dry in no time and be ready to use again or put away. I'm seriously impressed with the possible uses of this waterproof blanket. It has already been added to our 'jeep bag' that we take on every trip.I was given a discount on this purchase in order to offer my opinion on the product. I purchased this beach blanket to go on my week vacation with me to the cape. When I saw it I thought it would be a perfect size for myself and cousins. The color was Great and loved the material. The material was light and like a tent, it was water resistant and the sand came right off. It fit into a tiny bag and had steaks that helped hold it down as well as corners that you could fill with sand to hold them down. The only downfall I had for it was that it was smaller then I thought. I thought it would fit us all but it barely fit two people. It's great for a beach trip wth a couple people and when you don't want to lay directly on the blanket. It was a great and convenient product just not the size I imagined.I got this product discounted for my honest review.
