Weekend Cage at best bird in ad is PHOTOSHOPPED
I bought this cage knowing it was not going to be anywhere near my King’s cage, but I needed a secondary cage just to allow my Congo African Grey a backup when needed. That being said this cage is built super cheap and is NOT AN EVERYDAY CAGE. First off it is way too cheaply made or small for a large bird such as greys or macaws (that macaw in the pic is photoshopped and shrunk down). The pieces came bent and had to be bent back into shape (no tools needed to imagine what your birds beak can do). The finish on the cage is just that... a paint finish which will chip off rather easily. Don’t bother with the directions because they don’t give you much (see attached pic) but it’s pretty self explanatory. Assemble time with 2 people was 45mins. You will need a Phillips screwdriver. Use the big screws for the case and I zip tie the border trays on so I didn’t use the small Allen screws. The top of the cage will open with a little work from your bird so I put a combination lock on it to secure it (hahaha I have thumbs and my bird doesn’t so I finally outsmarted him on this one... I think). The wheels do have brakes on them which is a nice feature. The main door lock isn’t bad, but the food bowl locks will easily be unlocked by a smart bird (see attached pics for those as well)All in all this cage will do as a backup BUT AGAIN NOT AS A MAIN CAGE. This is not sturdy enough or big enough for a medium to large size bird.

Shipping damage makes it hard to evaluate - but cage has some nice features
The cage itself has met my expectations, but not exceeded them. The design is generally good, with easy access to the three bowls and good position for the main door. The ability to open the top and prop it open with the extra perch is nice as well. However, the latch mechanism on the main door has already begun to slip. It has to be held in the open position with one hand while I swing the safety latch aside with the other. My primary complaint has to do with the poor packaging and resulting damage to the cage. The box was broken open in several places and the cage arrived with two of the legs and some of the apron pieces bent. The bottom tray pullout design is probably pretty good, but with the structural damage, the apron around the bottom did not line up well and the tray is difficult to remove and replace. Of course, the bent legs prevent the wheels on one side of the cage from fitting properly. I did call Amazon to report the damage and ask what my options were. Because this is a third party seller, my only option was to repackage the cage, return it to Amazon and wait for a replacement to be sent after Amazon received my return. The box the cage came in was damaged beyond repair. Finding a new box and packing material for an item this size, then preparing it for pickup or transport to a mail facility was not a viable option for me, so I elected to keep the damaged cage.

Happy overall - seller quick to respond
Came with front panel post dented and bent (from shipping) and it was without a door latch. I still put it together because my bird needed a home. Seller was extremely quick to respond and sent a new panel. When opening the top there are no stops which makes it seem like the provided perch is too short. I just put zip ties on it to keep it spread out and moved perch a little lower instead of on top. Will put longer natural perch in its place. Seed skirt doesn't have a lip on the bottom so food will not always make it back into bottom pan. I'm not using the seed skirt. Yaheetech has a similar cage that addresses all these issues that has 1 inch bar spacing and works well for one of my birds. I had to have this one for the other bird because it's 3/4 inch bar spacing. Too small for medium size parrots but ok if they just use it only to eat and to sleep in.

Great cage for the price
We needed a movable cage for our Blue & Gold Macaw. He has a Kings that is 4 times the size of these. Only problem is once its put together it will not fit through any doorway. Since we are having some remodeling done we needed to be able to move him. This was plenty big enough for him to stay in temporarily and since I did not put the seed skirt on it I can easily roll the cage through doorways. As an afterthought I found this also works for sleeping. He (bird) likes to sleep with Wife when I’m not home at night. When I am he had to sleep in his cage. We tried it with this cage in the bedroom and he loved it. He can still see Wife who he likes best so he loves it. For a living cage this would be too small for large Macaws but would be great for birds like Conures and such. Pretty well made for the price. Perches that come with it are of course worthless. They are way too soft. Pretty much any kind of Parrot is going to chew them up in no time. I just used some Manzanita and made some perches for the cage. With fender washers and wood screws you can make them any size you wish and put them anyplace you wish on the cage.

The cage arrived in perfect condition!!!
Before making an online purchase I try to read the good and bad reviews. I read so many bad reviews about this cage, and still decided to buy it. Good that I made that decision: the order arrived on time (despite the COVID-19), the box and all the parts in perfect condition. You will need help to assemble it, which took us between 45 to 60 minute. It is the perfect size for my African gray; she just loves this cage!!!I do not usually write reviews about my online purchases (in fact, it is my first time). I am happy that I did not pay attention to the bad reviews and decided to buy it, my African Grey is super happy!!!

do not tighten the screws on top tight.
It was pretty easy to put together. I just had a little problem with the very top of it... I had to loosen all the screws on top so that i could fit the lid on... Other then that it was a breeze. I realize that it would have been common sense. I have my African gray in the cage and he loves it.. It looks great I have no problems with it.Thank you for a great cage at an affordable price.

My African Gray loves her new home
I bought this cage for my African Gray Parrot. Her previous cage was at least 20 years old. It took a couple of weeks to transition her though. I put the new cage next to her old one so she could get used to it. Eventually she allowed us to put her in the new cage. I believe she really likes it. A bit smaller than her old one but still very nice and good quality product.
