TVP-12P Price Computing Scale with Pole Display, Lb/Oz/Kg, 12lb Capacity, 0.002lb Readability, NTEP Legal for Trade COC #19-038

I purchased this based off the company profile as well as the reviews. As a new market farmer, I needed something accurate, easy to use and legal. I really enjoy using it and the instructions are easy and clear. the battery life is great. I keep it out all the time to pre-weigh my grab-and-go bags of veggies I sell so customers can have confidence I did my best and had the integrity to get them accurate value for the produce.The one thing that would make this better is if it came with a case that makes it easy to carry. I just transport it in it's box with the Styrofoam molding and that is ok. As a one-woman-band I am always looking for things to help my coming and going at the markets a little bit easier.

I've only used the basic weighing function so far, and it was easy. I'll have to wait to see about battery life and other functions. So far I like it. It's my lower cost starter scale. I didn't want to invest a lot before I knew how much I'd use it.

This “for trade scale lasted all of a year. Used Dailey for 12-16 ounce products. As it approached time for annual state certifications, it became so inaccurate that it was out of compliance and had to purchase another. I don’t recommend this scale for commerce.

This arrived quickly. And since we have had it, has worked flawlessly. Good product. Exactly as advertised.

Product is great. However it came in a box without much of any padding to protect it during shipping. It was also missing the protective plastic cover it promised.
