No illustrations, more of a skimming of the topic, though the contamination prevention info is decent.

Too much mystical mumbo jumbo very little useful info. Mostly fantasy writing. Lot of useful pointers like think good thought at your mushrooms lol very deep.

Lots of great information and technical information. I would recommend reading this book. Couple of different methods are explained. Awesome

I saw this here and I wondered why the author has a picture of an Inky capped mushroom, Coprinus legopus which is not a psilocybine mushroom. and it is not edible. It is related to the Shaggy Mane, Coprinus comatus.Hard for me to make a recommendation to those who wish to grow magic mushrooms.

Lots of worshipping mushrooms, but no real practical information on proper procedures for successfully growing. Look elsewhere for a practical guide. Leave this one for those who need their power crystals and foil hats.

This a well written book, it keeps its feet on the ground and its eye on the prize. Well worth a read
