The device is sturdy even with all the moving parts to rotate the camera.The functionality is well designed. The moving parts can bend and can be locked to stop moving.Very few selfie sticks can do this and still be rugged enough to handle the outdoors

Love this orbit pole. My son uses it all the time and he loves the fact that it can easily rotate and the ease of use!

When on put this on a tripod, or extend another selfie stick, I have a camera crane.

I got this and we thought it was cool , took it on a 4 day trip and on the second day broke !!!! The little think that makes it rotate broke . Used it for only 2 days what a waste of money .

The Orbit pole is a brilliant choice, not only for sports athletes like snowboarders and skaters, but for videographers and bloggers, too. No need to reel in my selfie stick and reconfigure my smartphone or Gopro so that it faces outward. By the time I do that I have usually lost the shot I was hoping for. Now I can spontaneously change camera direction on-the-fly with the ease of spinning a dial. And do it one-handed! The 360-degree rotation is fabulous and smooth. I went on a grizzly bear watching tour in Bella Coola, BC and I was able to aim my iphone to record a momma bear and her 2-year-old cub, then instantly turn my camera 180-degree to video record some reaction shots of my group. Additionally, it served as an invaluable tool for slow pans left or right of the scenery. Another unique application occurred when I was shooting a PSA for the Humane Society. In one shot with the Orbit Pole extended I was able to get some great low shots of the dog I was walking on a leash and then capture some POV footage all in the same take by simply rotating the camera. I did this while still having it extended. Regular camera rigs don’t achieve this. As you can imagine, this saved me time because I was able to record two different camera perspectives without having to spend time arranging my camera for two different shots. Time was saved later in editing, too. For many of these reasons the Orbit Pole is one of the best camera accessories I have. The handle is comfortable and the carbon fiber material keeps it lightweight and durable. When I took it hiking in the snow and I didn’t have to worry about cleaning it at the end of the day since the carbon fiber won’t rust or corrode like cheap selfie sticks can when they are exposed to the elements. I’ve now ordered the “Trim” model to add one more to my collection. Ultimate kudos to the creator!

This is the best selfie-stick on the market hands down. I've taken it on many trips rock climbing, whitewater canoeing, hiking, and skiing. It is virtually indestructible and has allowed me to capture some amazing footage and photos for my website/blog. What makes this stick stand out compared to all it's competitors is that you can change the point-of-view of the camera while filming by simply rotating a dial with your thumb. I can't say enough good things about this stick. I take it with me wherever I go. Check out how the ORBIT pole in the back of my canoe in the photo!

Absolutely fantastic product! I bought one of these a couple of months ago and could not be happier. I can film myself riding, or turn it all the way around and just take in the surroundings. Much better way to film than anything I have experienced so far!
