Initially I liked this for my MacBook Air. But after using it for a while I found that the laptop tends to slide off of it (and even risk of scratching the back of the laptop in the process)I bought this to use it on flat surfaces to do work as well as on the bed when I'm browsing online or watching movies etc.On the desk (or any flat surface) it works perfectly.However, i bought this so that the MacBook Air doesn't overheat when put on a pillow or blanket on itself (which isn't recommended as it doesn't allow air circulation!) but anyways, when I propped this stand up on a pillow or my blanket I found it would slide down and not stay in one place.Also as mentioned already, the laptop also seems to slide down- which defeats the purpose of the item in the first place.All in all, it's ok. Does the job, but depends what kind of surface you put it on.Just wish I didn't pay the price for it.

Silver version, using it with a Razer Blade 2016. I've used the stand for a day now. It is a much cheaper alternative to the official Razer Blade laptop stand.The 18 degree typing angle is good and means I'm not typing too much on a slant.The rubber feet of the stand means there is no risk of the laptop moving around the desk when typing.The design of the stand is great, however ... with the Razer Blade 2016 is does mean 2 things.1) The raised part of the stand at the back is slightly too wide to fit perfectly between the fans on the bottom of the Razer Blade 2016 laptop meaning that around 2% to 5% of the cooling fan outlets are covered up.2) The rubber padding on the top of the raised part of the stand is 1cm to 2cm too far forward to mean the Razer Blade 016 laptop rubber foot strip does not sit fully onto it. The laptop rubber is only a few millimeters on the rubber part of the laptop stand. This is not a real issue, but I would have liked it to have been full contact between laptop and stand.There appears to be no issue of the laptop sliding forward like some of the other reviews as the rubber at the front holds the laptop in place well.My laptop already feels like it stays cooler during the intensive gaming sessions. Having the cable management hole at the rear also means everything looks neat and tidy when using an additional mouse and monitor, making everything feed out of a central point.I do have to say that my other laptops with a curved front do not stay where they should and do tend to slide forward over time.A good laptop stand overall and would recommend it to other users of laptops similar to the Razer Blade 2016 model.
