Useful. A little loose-fitting
I like the convenience of this adaptable ratchet socket. My only quibble is that it feels a little loosely-attached in my cordless screwdriver. It could be just my screwdriver, though.Seems reasonably well-made. Worth it.RECOMMENDED.

Universal socket with adapter
The media could not be loaded. This universal socket will make my husband’s life a bit easier.I ordered this because he’s a man that doesn’t need or want anything…except tools. That man loves new tools. This universal socket comes with an adapter he can put on his power drill, so he doesn’t have to stop what he’s doing to find the right fit. It’ll be his Father’s Day gift, and I’m sure he will love it.Works smoothly and fits most tools.Recommended!

The versatility and convenience of this little thing makes it a great buy!
For $12, this is easily a 10/10 must-buy for random uses in your home. I’ve never heard of ToolBay but the socket feels like it’s quality metal material and I expect it to last a few years, though this thing will definitely scratch after one drop. This fit my cheap Autocraft socket wrench and locks in place nice and snug. The additional hex adapter is a huge bonus and so glad it comes bundled. Great holiday/ birthday/ stocking stuffer for those family and friends that are handy!Random uses: I’ve used it to tighten bolts on my bike, bike trailer, garbage can wheels (I said random right?), and even my house’s deck bolts. My husband used the hex adapter on his cheap drill to loosen different sized bolts in the car to remove seats for detailing. It was much faster than switching socket sizes and cranking the socket wrench in tight spaces. My husband also tried it on our car’s lug nuts and it just barely fits a lug but his drill didn’t have enough torque to make it work well. He says an impact driver would make “light work” of the lug nuts with this adapter though!

Great Tool - 3/8" depth - lots of similar options available
I've wanted one of these tools since I first started collecting tools as a kid, and saw the commercials for this back in the 80s around father's day. I'm surprised at how many sellers and brands there are of this same tool, including the original O.G. gator grip. This particular tool wasn't the cheapest one of the lot, but certainly on the inexpensive side. My advice is, if you're looking to add this to your collection, spend some time shopping around and you'll find all sorts of variants that come with different attachments, flexible adapters, etc...Back to this tool, I have no intention of using this for high torque, applications, it is a convenience tool for me, and have been using it as the site pictures intend. All sorts of odd shaped fasteners, either with a speed handle or power tool. In a week it has already saved me enough time to make it worth every penny. This pins are grouped well, are tight in the tool. Two things that aren't mentioned in this particular tool:1. Max Torque (high priced versions have advertised 450 ft pounds)2. Socket depth - although this looks like a deep well socket, the pins and springs take up most fo the room. I did a measurement and you get 3/8" of socket depth. All in all, solid tool and glad to finally have one after 30 years of tool collection.

I've wasted so much time by not buying this sooner.
Wow. I have seen these over the past few years in ads (which probably became more and more targeted by how many little videos I have watched about the functions of this little adapter). But man is it handy. If you're like me, you probably don't even realize how many times you get a piece of furniture or product that comes with bolts of two or more sizes. And for lack of this little adapter you'll go on switching endlessly between the two wrenches (or grab a crescent wrench and be just as miserable).Do yourself a favor and grab this little socket to replace most of the tools you reach for in those moments.

Truly genius..
I am one that isn't too familiar with sizes of nuts and bolts and things and many times find myself highly frustrated with having to try each one one by one before I get the right one. This is so simple, it's genius. If it can fit inside this socket, you can turn and tighten it. This always makes me wonder why nobody ever thought of this before lol. This is a must have for every tool box.
