Gerhard Richter: Landscape

Beware, for an art book the reproductions are tiny to an extreme, taking on most pages less than a third of the space, and I mean by that 3 by 4 inches on average, back pages often left blank .. Be it for reasons of copyright or what not, this is nonetheless shameful for a book at this price point and of this format. It just makes you feel miserably unimportant and duped for making this purchase. The book is otherwise well made and the accompanying critical literature is informative. And yes, Gerhard Richter is a genial painter.
