We couldn't get the Miss Jessie’s co-wash anymore, so had to find something new and decided on this. We were blown away by the way our kids’ hair just relaxed without losing curliness. Their hair is so soft and curls well-defined - no longer finding matted patches of hair that we’d eventually have to cut out. Cant wait to try more products from Mixed Chicks to cover the rest of their hair regimen and continue to improve the health of their mixed hair.Use on 3B and 3C curl patterns. No lather. Immediate results. Nice scent but light, so not dominating your sense of smell all day. Use 2-3 times a week, including after weekly full shampoo wash.

Love this product🌟- easily detangled my mature, curly, and often difficult to comb hair! Keeps my hair clean, moisturized and soft.Had been buying from Target or Ulta but hasnt been available at those sites so got here. Unfortunately the one time Amazon shipped me an item in minimal packaging and tube's sealed end split, so arrived with lots of product in bag and on container😕 Hope this is an isolated shipping error.

Great product

No one in my family has curly hair except for me. We didn't know diddly about curly hair when I was little. My just always brushed my hair out and as those of you know makes nothing but a frizzy mess. Talk about a "bad hair day" no no, for me it's a bad hair life. My hair goes every which direction as soon as it's dry. I don't have the most beautiful round shaped head so when I straighten it out it just looks weird. It grows super slow so I can't rely on gravity to weigh it down. I don't have much to work with but man it's an ugly mess. Anyway I recently ran out of options (I bleach and dye it all kinds of colors all the time)and then remembered that I had curly hair and heard the phrase and NOT FROM MY OWN MOTHERS voice randomly one sunny afternoon say all nonchalant " you have to use a defuser and blow dry ot upside down" so I did that and my god of it weren't for having the worst self cut I've ever had I would have gone to every store I could think of showing it off cuz I had some really awesome curls no one ever told me about. So long story short this curly world is brand new to me but I know this much and that's what I can live without and that's every single shampoo in the entire galaxy. Not a single brand, not a single scent would I trade for this shampoo. This one is the one that makes the hair work. I love it I love it like it's my sister. And that's the truth. Thank you thank you thank you finally thank you so much. Oh yeah, can't live without it, nope. <3<3<3 it relaxes all the frizz, it juices up the spring back,it adds lots of luscious luster and also "keeps em separated". THANK YOU! 🙏

This is the best co wash I’ve found. I have mixed hair. Dad is black and mom was white. And I over bleached my hair last summer leaving it a hot mess. This is the only thing to make it soft again. Highly recommend

This isn't too bad, but for my hair type (2b wavy, fine,low porosity) , it behaves more like shampoo. If I were to use it by itself it would leave my hair more dry than moistured. Fortunately I also have hair conditioner which helps.

This wash is very gentle and leaves hair conditioned and clean without dryness

I bought this product, along with the leave-in conditioner, for my granddaughter, who has mixed hair, and it works perfectly for her! We had been trying for the longest to find the right product for her hair, and we finally tried this one, and it works great!
