Strong and durable cast iron construction with a thick, rippled powder coating for excellent resistance to corrosion. For simple installation, adjustment, maintenance and removal of taps and their fixings from basins, sinks and baths. Open, stepped-head design enables access to restricted or confined areas, while the high-grip jaws enable provide close-contact with wet, oily, dirty surfaces. I phoned a local plumber who wanted £25.00 to come a tighten it up. I saw this on desertcart and thought I would give it a go myself before spending that sort of money. None of my normal spanners or large pliers would get near it due to poor access so I bought this spanner. It worked first time, tap is now fixed in position and I have saved over £20 so for me if I never have to use it again it was still a bargain. I see none of the problems other people have had with it, it seems strong, well made and does the job. It was great for me but I expect that if you paid more you would get one with a better finish, stronger etc.

c'est un outil très robuste,de bonne facture et de la qualité du matériau. Je n'est pas pus l'utiliser car les écrous des deux robinets que j'ai reçu ,font 33 mm et 35 mm. Donc je le renvoie a amazon,article non utilisé,dommage?

It's okay, was too big to fit behind the small wash room basin I needed it for. Kept it as it will be fine for standard basin applications.
