One dozen (12) clear plastic storage tubes, with 1" inside diameter, about 1.125" outer diameter, with (24) flat top natural color plastic plugs to close both ends. Tubes can be used to store and collect many types of small items, like: candy, pins, screws/nuts/bolts, BB's, pellets, candles, coins (including quarters), party favors, seeds, rocks, soil samples, flowers, bugs, shells, beads, crystals, bath salts, 1" gumballs, and for packaging and products like knife blades, fishing lures, drill bits, end mill cutters or other specialized tools. These tubes are Not recommended for storing liquids, the clear plastic tubes are flexible (see picture). Plugs are very secure, once inserted in tube, but can be removed. YOUR CHOICE: The length of the tube itself is 4.5" (~114mm) or 8.0" (~ 203mm), and with both ends inserted it is 4.625" (~ 117mm) or 8.125" (~ 206mm)overall. End plugs are inserted about 3/8" (~9.5mm) into the tube, not on the "outside" of the tube. Please ask us if you need more info about this.

open cylinders with a plug for each end.
These are ok. The tubes aren't very sturdy, but the plugs are. There are two plugs for each tube - the tubes are really open cylinders. This wasn't really clear to me in the description. They do what I wanted/needed them to do, so that's good.
