Smaller then expected, but tough as nails
**update after 14 months** This thing gets better the more I use it. Now have a 3L camelbak bladder I put in here, this bag has been on over 400 miles of bike rides (at least 15% of that completely off road), and goes with me on my half marathon runs. I have several bags, and this is my go to bag for exercise trips, photography missions, and this is my carry on always. It will barely hold my 15" work laptop, although it's tight. Always have 3 or 4 carabiners hooked up and it holds everything I need for my day. I can't recommend this bag enough!**(original review)I was hoping to use this bag to replace my aging Jansport book bag for packing a bunch of clothes and electronics, and was surprised when I saw how small this bag was, but it is definitely a durable piece. (I won't take away a star for me not knowing how big it was). (for size reference, I am a large guy, and it is narrow enough that it fits between my shoulder blades, where as a standard book bag covers my shoulder blades)As soon as I received this bag I opened up the pockets, loosened the straps, and let it breath for one night before stuffing it to the brim for a 3 day weekend in the snow. My biggest complaints areA) it's a new bag and I kept losing small items since I wasn't sure which pocket I had put them in, andB) it took a little while to loosen and adjust every thing to get it right.Once adjusted though, you find that the material is thick and durable feeling, and was plenty water resistant in snow. The zippers are extremely heavy duty compared to a standard backpack, the strap system is great for snugging everything down tight and compressing the bag, you will be hard pressed to run out of attachment points as you gear up, and it doesn't look like every other back pack out there.I look forward to the places I will take this bag and am confident it will survive it all.

Smaller than expected
I liked my black Level III Lv3 Molle Assault Pack Backpack. it looks like it is pictured and described. I only gave it 4 stars, because I thought it would be bigger in size. It does have straps that you can adjust, in fact it has a lot is straps and rings on the outside, for expansion and so you can attach separate additional packs. I bought it to use as my go-bag. I live on the east coast of Virginia and we get a lot of Tropical Storms and Hurricanes where we lose power, so my Backpack is filled to the brim with ration bars, fire making items, survival knife, a solar /crank up radio, light, and cellphone charger, water purifying tablets, and many other necessities. I could not fit a decent size first aid kit in it, so I.bought a Maxpedition Fr-1 Pouch and filled it with all my first aid items and attached it to my Backpack with 2 Carabiners. I had purchased a 6 pack of 3 inch Blackhawks Speed clips to attach.the pouch to my pack, but I misjudged the size and should hVe gone with the 5 inch ones, because the 3 inch clips are way too short. All in all, I am happy with my Backpack. It would make a great First Responder Aid Pack. I just hVe way too many survival items to fit comfortably in this backpack. I need to reorganize and reduce some of my things, because it is also really heavy. The 3600 Datrex Ration Bars are super dense, heavy, and somewhat bulky. The dehydrated.foods probably would work better for space and weight.

Joke
This product was talked up if you ask me. It's very small and should be for a child. Except that two straps fell off without me even pulling on them. Zippers stuck right away. I have better ones from Walmart that cost 10 bucks.

Just What I Was Looking For
I bought two of these packs. I really like them a lot. Not too big and as a previous reviewer said almost the size of a regular backpack. However, you can really fit in a great amount of stuff. From equipment to supplies, clothing, tools, etc. I had no trouble fitting in everything I need, especially as a disaster or accident mobile bag. I also attached a matching first aid pouch (also found on Amazon) plus a storm whistle. (There are plenty of spots made available for attachments) While it can get quite heavy, especially if you are serious about what you store in the pack, the chest and waist strap adjust to where your balance is restored and you are comfortable with how the pack sits on your back. By adjusting the straps just right, the pack won't pull you backwards. I can't comment on how durable this pack is as I have not tested it yet with other than what I have previously stated. But it does seem well made and ready to carry a heavy load.

OK
The pack seems to be durable, but it is small. It is a bit difficult determining how large the bag it by reading the dimensions. Some bags are not as long and wide, but with the different compartments, they will stretch outward forever. This one is not the case. It is nice for a small pack, but don't plan on filling this with items you would need for a few days, they just won't fit.

Sent it Back
This bag was much smaller than what I expected. It is not built well at all. Zippers were cheap, material is cheap, straps were cheap, etc. I have a 15" laptop that I wanted to fit, it did, but it left no room for anything else. Pictures were deceiving. Looks cool, and would work well to carry small light things. But not to carry books, camping gear, etc in.

Awesome Bag
I bought this bag at first for a small bug out bag but I liked it so much I didn't want to leave it sitting around in my closet. It seems small out of the box but once you start filling the pockets and compartments you will be impressed. I now use it weekly as a small range bag. It easily holds everything I need for the shooting range plus lunch and the hydration badder. I read a couple reviews about the shoulder straps breaking, for me so far so good but will definitely update my review if this happens. I am also considering taking this for a test run on a minimalist 4 day hiking trip. It seems pretty rugged and definitely has the capacity for my needs.
