WHEDON PRODUCTS AFP6C 6 Position Hand Shower System

The pictures on the box are greatly deceiving. We cannot get the spray to even half of what is shown by the pictures. Even my boys with their closely cut hair have a hard time rinsing the shampoo out, and my long hair is another story all together. More disappointing than this, though, is the fact that I thought I was buying an American made product based on my Internet searches. It turns out the shower head was PRINTED and PACKAGED in the USA, but one part was made in Canada and the rest in Vietnam. I feel more like I am all wet after making this purchase than I am in the shower.

I have been using a Whedon SaverShower hear for nearly 30 years. Because of aging issues I decided it would be beneficial to get a handheld shower head. I first installed this with Whedon products af110c Chrome Plated Solid Brass, Lever Style, Shower Arm Diverter. This was completely unacceptable. the out flow was weak. There was virtually no pulsing, though I could hear what I suspect was the pulse actuator. When I got your email asking for details I decided to retry the unit. This time I used the swivel arm bracket provided, installing it with each of the restrictor plates separately, and with no restrictor plates. I got no noticeable pulse except with no restrictor plates, and then it was unacceptably weak. The only setting that provided a visibly decent stream was the hard, full body shower spray, and that was not hard, even with no restrictor plates it was weak.As I have said, I have used the Whedon ShowerSaver for years and have recommended to others more times than I can count. I expected this hand held device to be comparable; it fails in every respect.

I had gone to the big box store to buy a shower head with a hose, because of my long hair. I came home with a WaterPic, and no matter what I did ... it leaked. The hose was made of cheap plastic as were most of the connectors. So I bought this Whedon Hand Shower System and NO LEAKS and it was hand tightened. It has way more setting then the WaterPic and was MUST LESS expensive, even with shipping!!!The shower head itself is still made of plastic, but at else the fitting have good washers and the package came ready to install with plumbers tape included ... but I didn't need it!I would recommend this shower head over many of the bigger box store brands, especially for the price.The shower head is made in China, the hose in Canada and it is packaged in the USA.

AFTER SOME 10 YEARS OF PURCHASING 3 SHOWER HEADS THAT WOULD EITHER STOP WORKING, STOP UP, OR JUST PLAIN FALL FROM THE OUTLET; BY FAR THIS SHOWERHEAD WORKS JUST PERFECT. THERE ARE SEVERAL DIALS THAT STREAM THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF WATER; THE CHROME IS SO PRETTY AND MATCHES MY OTHER FIXTURES. I CALLED THE COMPANY BECAUSE I HAD READ ABOUT THIS BRAND BUT WAS NOT FAMILIAR WITH IT;ALSO THERE WEREN'T MANY STORES THAT CARRIED THE BRAND IN HOUSTON. THE SALESMAN STATED TO TRY AMAZON AND THAT'S HOW I FOUND IT. YEA! I AM SO GLAD I DID.BODDY-

The big advantage to this shower head is that the hose is quite flexible. Most other inexpensive products (and even some pricey ones) have very rigid hoses that make the shower head awkward to use.

Looks and performs much better than you would expect for the price. Excellent product. I would highly recommend this item.
