This screen is much better than the old one I had. The design is nearly perfect. Some real know-how went into the manufacture. The seams are strong, especially the inside seams that hold the magnets. The magnets are invisible, inside the seam, so they will not be falling off as mine used to. Installation is pretty easy, with detailed instructions and pictures. The outside of the screens are put up with very strong adhesive tape which hold up the velcro-type outside liner. This includes the top of the screens as well, which is much better than the spring rod my old one had, which left tiny openings for flying insects to come in. My doorway is a little worn, so I did add some staples. My cat likes it because the magnets don't hit her when she goes through. The automatic closing feature really works well, too. I'm very pleased.

My cat can go out on to the balcony and it closes behind him. Keeps bugs out. The tacks that came with to attach to door frame worked well, though I had to take it down for maintenance to do repairs one day and I used a staple gun to put it back up, worked even better. As long as you install it correctly and line it up properly, it will always shut behind you (or your pet). I do have to clean it as it catches cat hair on it. Oh, and my cat learned how to open it quickly, took two times to show him how it worked (once going outside, and once coming back in) and now he opens it like a champ.

This is a much better product than ones I have gotten in the past at my local home goods store. The magnetic strip is continuous down both sides of the screen so it has a much better seal, as opposed to the previous ones that I have purchased that have multiple single magnetic strips every 5-8 inches down the length of the screen which frequently break away from the screen. The sticky strips that are used to apply it to the doorway are also much better.My only complaint is that the mesh could be a little bit more durable. I have had it installed for a few months now, but the mesh at the top of the screen has torn a bit away from the top so now I have to bring the two screens together by hand to close it, whereas before it closed automatically. It can be easily repaired by either gluing or duct taping the mesh back onto the adherent strips that hold it to the door frame.All in all, a good product for the price if you don't have a screen door.

We love this thing. It is very windy at our back door which has broken multiple screen doors so we decided to give this a try. It is great the kids come and go and the door is never left open so it keeps bugs out great. The dog can come and go as she pleases which is also nice. My only complaint is we have a steel back door and if you push hard enough the magnets stick to the door and dont seal. Which isnt a fault of the product but it isnt a frequent problem and normally only sticks near the bottom which is still way better than a whole door being left open.

I had another screen that my dogs managed to shred in a short period of time. Not with this screen - it’s outlasting my boy dog who likes to run thru the screen instead of walking in.Having the magnets sewn in makes a huge difference and has kept the screen from losing the magnets and getting caught in things. Also the screen has adhesive all around and that has helped it stay in place when my dog comes running thru the screen.I’d definitely buy it again when it’s time to replace.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it didn't fit like I had thought. This is probably more my fault than anything as I thought it was for a sliding glass door and I think it is for a normal door. So I only have it taped on the top and then to one side of the door frame (not both sides as it is intended because it doesn't fit up right), but even with that it works awesome. The dogs figured it out fairly quickly on how to go in and out. The magnets that keep the two parts closed works really well.I would highly recommend it, especially if you have your door open for dogs to go in and out during the day. It works really well and it looks like we will have less bugs getting into the house now.

It works really well, but if you have a concrete or stone house then hanging this will be a problem, as it will not stay stick for long due to temperature changes and usage. .......It keeps the mosquito out, I had to teach my dog to use it, and the black is nice.....but because the adhesive kept coming undone due to usage and stuck against concrete......i just gorilla glue it and problem solve. Recommended for anyone living in the tropics!!

Bought this last year on a lightning deal, and just got around to installing it today. This screen is much better than the old one I had. I like that it's one piece instead of two individual pieces. It is well sewn, and the magnets are strong. It is windy today, and the door isn't blowing open like my old one did due to the stronger magnets. Very pleased with my purchase. Highly recommend.
