Review: Best purchase ever for day hikes - I used this for several day hikes in the Smokies and it was perfect. Plenty of storage in the backpack, sat comfortably on my shoulders and waist. This is definitley going to be my go-to piece of gear from here on out. I did find that the water tasted bad the first time I used it even though I cleaned it thoroughly first. That may have been due to using the local tap water where I was staying. The next hike I used bottled water and added a few drops of lemon juice. It was great with those two changes. This was so much better than lugging bottled water with me, and I was able to pack everything I needed for my hikes. Be sure to buy a hydration cleaning kit when you order your Mothybot.

I had purchased a different brand in preparation for a trip to Yosemite, but I wanted to get one for my daughter in law too. Well she wanted pink, so we switched to this brand as the other didn’t have pink. Everything worked great, no leaks. Holds plenty of stuff, has plenty of pockets and was comfortable for the 5 mile hike and the 13 mile round trip hike that they did. Would strongly recommend. It was perfect for our needs. If anything, it might hold more water than actually needed. But better to have too much than not enough!
