Q: Is this a heavy set? I am looking for a Heavy Solid feeling flatware set. And also, have they held up well?

No, the set is not heavy, nor is it sturdy. In fact, I think it's rather flimsy for my taste. I am returning it.

They are solid. The flatware is a heavy weight & top quality!

Absolutely 18/10. Heavy and gorgeous finish. great feel to them.

Q: Are these the trendy long forks, and I don't mean the handle part, and are the soup spoons huge. Or is this more of a traditional set?

There are both "long" forks and "short" ones, as shown in the picture. And yes, the Soup spoons are huge...I love them!
