Product works well and does what it's supposed to do. The only thing I would add to the product is put a cover so that pieces won't jump out when being used otherwise it's a good product and easy to use.

We love Brazil nuts. We love all nuts, but we really had a hard time cracking Brazil nuts with our regular assortment of nut crackers. Now that we are octogenarians, we don't have the strength to use the nut crackers. We have been using a hammer, cutting board and tea towel to cover the nuts so that shattered shells don't fly everywhere. This is the perfect nut cracker! We can use it on any nut, any size easily. We have the strength to squeeze and turn the nut around where we need it to crack. This is perfect. The only thing is that the plastic handles should be wood or metal. We have shelled about 5-pounds of nuts for the holidays and we have a small crack in one of the handles. My husband reinforced it with - what else - duct tape. You'll love this when you get it.

i would give 4 1/2 stars. Not so easy to crack blackWalnuts but now I know they are gross, the 1/2 Star because it’s so messy but I’m guessing others just as bad. Customer service is beyondAmazing

For pecans and Brazil nuts, this works much better than a standard nutcracker. It splits the shell in several places, so the shell is easy to remove. I was able to quickly crack them and get an intact nut most of the time. With our standard nutcracker, the pecans and Brazil nuts took a long time, even after a lot of practice, and the nuts would usually end up in fragments. For almonds and hazelnuts (Filberts), this nutcracker also worked well, but those nuts weren't too difficult with a standard nutcracker, so the difference isn't as great.I didn't receive any discount or free product for my review.

Was looking for a tough nut cracker for Brazil nuts, and this one wasn't it! It didn't understand Brazil nuts at all. On the other hand, it works wonderfully on Hazelnuts, instant gratification as the shell falls away in small pieces from the nut.

I really needed a smaller version like a similar nutcracker I already had and this one fit the bill! Perfect size for cracking all of my hazelnuts.

As a hazelnut farmer, I have ordered this product several times. On my first few orders, I received the product as shown ... a black and grey, very heavy duty nut cracker. It worked really well and gave it a 5 star positive review. On my next two orders, I received a different product. The material was much weaker metal/plastic and the color ranged from light purple purple. In my last order ... just last week, I was hoping the product was like the original since the picture represented such. Not the case ... still getting the lesser quality, different product. I want to get the product that I originally purchased and what is represented in the pictures.

I needed a nutcracker that would crack apricot pits. Most nutcrackers either can't, take more strength than i have, or spray shards all over the place. This nutcracker is perfect. Easy to crack the pits, no spray, almost no effort.

What a fabulous pair of nut crackers. These are a must for nuts. Everyone in my house hold loved them. They will last a very long time as strong and great to to use. I really can’t recommend them enough

Broke the first time I tried to use it. Didn't even get a nut cracked. Don't waste your time or money.
