For your next football themed party, we have created a football shaped cheese tray featuring inlaid single side maple accents to represent the football laces. Solid Mahogany hardwood. Constructed using strips of hardwood to ensure long-term stability and prevent warping. Strips are glued using Titebond type III waterproof glue, FDA certified as food safe and passes ANSI/HPVA Type I Specification. This piece measures 14 3/4" L x 10 1/4" W x 5/8 to 3/4" thick. Wood is a natural material and variations of color and grain patterns exist between lumber pieces, even from the same tree. The pictures above are close approximations of the actual board you will receive. Printed cutting/charcuterie board care instructions are included and sold without pictured accessories. This is finished with all natural mineral oil and then a coat of our proprietary blend of mineral oil, 100% natural Indiana bees wax. Mineral oil is a non-drying oil, which means that it will not polymerize (form a plastic-like substance) over time. This is good for oiling wood surfaces that are in contact with water because it will stay a bit liquid in the wood and flow into cracks and scratches. It is also food-safe and won't go rancid or support microorganisms. Mineral oil is inexpensive and available at a wide variety of stores. Periodic reapplication of the oil after cleaning the board will return it to like new condition. Use mild soap during cleaning and it should not be submerged in water. Sold without accessories.
