Great little unit! Compact, quiet and has an adjustable flow rate as well. I like the removable outlet nozzle and the included alternate narrower outlet nozzle as well, really nice touch.I'm using this pump for a desktop fountain, and my initial testing setup using a Pyrex mixing bowl would highlight any noise issues, of which I found none. The only time I really hear the pump is during the initial startup, but it's undetectable underneath the soothing sounds of trickling water afterward.Best hookup so far has been with vinyl tubing with an inner diameter of 1.5 inches.

I bought this small pump for use in the bottom of a small hydroponics tray for growing lettuce. I decided to try it out to circulate water in a 5 gal bucket I was using for storing RO water and balancing PH before introducing it to the plants. I am impressed by the flow made by this little pump, it works well and would be perfect for those areas where you cannot fit a typical powerhead or circulation pump.

This is small which is perfect for my application and the reason I bought it but they should understand that the people who are buying a mini pump do not need a very think electrical cord. I am no electrician but the electrical cord on this thing is the thickest I have even seen - much thicker (double/triple) than my aquarium canister filter, heater, air pump or anything else I have. This makes it harder to bend it and put in tight spaces.

Might be useful for a small outdoor fountain with no living things swimming around in it. Indoors...I've been putting off writing this because I wanted to come up with a witty way to describe the rattle and buzz this thing makes, but the noise is suppressing my creativity. It was quiet when I first plugged it in yesterday, but now it's annoying from across the room.

I needed a submersible pump to feed a water spitter, but I didn't want one so.powerful it would shoot water out of the pond. This does the job. I got a nice, sedate stream of water that arcs about a foot from the mouth of the spitter.The little suction feet are surprisingly efficient. They stuck to the liner with no problems.Good choice for my application.

Purchased for a relative, and it is quiet and works well. Would have been nice if the little tubing were included. However, we went to a brick and mortar store to buy that. Great price and quality, otherwise. I will probably purchase one for myself.

This is a powerful little pump and is very quiet. I'm using these as aquarium circulation pumps and added a homemade spray bar by drilling some PVC pipe to attach to the outlet so the flow is dispersed across a wider area. The range of adjustment is sufficient that it works well for both the 10 and 20 gallon aquariums I've used it in.

Excellent pump for the price. I purchased this pump to circulate water in a 15L water bath for warming up C-41 and E-6 photographich chemicals. The pump is quiet, easily adjustable water flow and the suction cups really work. Great deal for the price.
