It produces more than enough scent and gives off a calming bubbling sound while working. You can hear the motor going if you're close to it (mines on my desk) but it's not distracting or loud. The tank inside is white plastic and easy to take apart and clean. Other diffusers I've had were awkward to clean and also, when you refill the tank, they've been messy as you have to get the lid in line with the main tank for the drip channel to match up. With this one, it is easy as the lid of the tank is designed such that you can only put it on if they're in line, which makes it so much easier (I don't know if any of that made sense, but it will when you try it!). The light colours can be cycled through by pressing the right hand button repeatedly. The first time you press it to turn it on, it will be on auto-cycle mode, in which it will automatically fade through all the colours. The left hand button is to turn on the diffuser itself, and you can set this from 30 minutes to 3 hours. The light doesn't automatically turn on with the diffuser, so if you didn't want the light on, you wont have to cycle through all the colours to get it to turn off again. I bought the smaller 100ml tank which is plenty big enough for me. On a full tank, I can run it for a good few hours. The mist ejection is the strongest I have seen in any diffuser, but one issue is, it's CONSTANT. There is no intermittent misting. It's on 100% of the time you have it turned on.
