I finally broke down and did research on a puncture resistant tire for my ebike that would not cost an arm and leg to buy. I came across this tire and took a chance based on other reviews. I have been riding on it for a few weeks now trouble free. It was a little hard to get on, but with steel tire levers and some patience it went on. PROS: It is a good solid tire with a layer of protection against glass, sharp rocks, old nails, screws, and everything else I have come across on the road. The reflective sidewall is a plus and help in visibility at night. It states it is designed for ebikes which caused me to buy it along with it being puncture resistant. CONS: There is not much tread on the tire (not very deep) and it was a little hard to get on. Over all a good buy. 09/09/14 update - Well almost a year without a flat. Tire is very sturdy & durable. I'm currently using these tires on weekly century rides. However, the downside was that the tire is very hard to put on. I had to go to a bike shop to have them install it. Also durability of the tire also adds additional weight (from the armadillo like pattern & thickness) compare to general road bike 700x25c tires.
