This book was recommended and oh boy does it deliver. Typical Readers Digest quality. I don't think there is any question I've asked if thus book that hasn't delivered in full. Clear concise and easy to understand

Had a copy of this book when it was first published but it got 'lost' somewhere along the line during 5-6 house moves.Just bought this latest updated edition as I've started dressmaking again and it's really worth the money - full of useful hints and tips and information.

I have the old Reader's Digest Guide to Sewing and this updated guide seems easier to follow. Only one quibble. The projects are often based on actually patterns but there isn't much explanation on how to adapt them. Otherwise,wonderful!
