Cool concept, not easy to install and may not fit your bike
Beautiful concept and certainly an interesting application of design, but impractical. Pros: Packable - put it in your bag and only break out when wet. Installs without tools. Cons: instructions on specific folds necessary to install unclear (pictures only, no text, not descriptive enough). Will not install correctly on bikes with a water bottle cage in the way on the seat tube, also not appropriate for some/most standard center pull brakes as the fender must install pretty close to the tire. Side pull and disc brakes should be OK.I actually wasn't able to install the fender correctly for the cons listed. Also, in anything more than water (mud, silt, wet gravel) I suspect it would cling to the fender and pull it down against the tire.Seat-post fenders still probably the way to go for most bikers.
