Amazing Shape, Amazing Product
OMG, this is hands down THE BEST silicone makeup sponge on the market. The tear shape makes easy to get under the eye and in between the nose. It is a little smaller and thinner than most, and the outer edge has a very short trim so it won't scratch you like the others do. I followed the instruction to dab the foundation on my face instead of rubbing it, and it was a perfect look with very little amount of my foundation!!Just tossed my other sponge out, because this is the only one I need! I highly recommend this tear shaped silicone sponge to everyone!

I am not sure what all the fuss is over these silicone "sponges" but I did not like it for putting make up on. I felt it did not do a great job when trying to blend makeup and made putting on makeup a very messy process. I used twice and that's all I needed to use before I knew it wasn't for me.

Great shape, well made, and no nasty smell.
When the original silisponge was unavailable, I was looking for an alternative. I tried a couple of different ones before trying this one, and this was by far the best. The shape is far better than others I tried. The edges on outer lining were neatly and evenly trimmed. There is not as much excess material on the edges, which makes it easier to clean. Most importantly, there was no nasty chemical-smelling residue. The glitter is pretty, too. I have thrown all the others away and will be sticking with this one.

Great disappointment. Going back to beauty blender
Going back to my beauty blender. It made a mess causing steaking and blotching. Followed directions but couldn't get the results that the other reviewers achieved. I was excited to try it but greatly dissatisfied with result.

Ehhhh.
I don't know about this. I've used it a few times and can't seem to get it to work well. I've tried dabbing, steaking, blending and I always seems to get a streaky mess. Not for me. I will say however it works in that you do not waste much product like using other applicators. For that, I will give it three stars.

and feels comfortable on my skin
My 4 star rating has somewhat to do with the product itself and not so much with how it is made-- the silisponge is durable, flexable, and feels comfortable on my skin. BUT. A silisponge is really only good for *spreading* makeup around your face. You will still want a blending sponge otherwise you will end up with a LOT of product that sits on top of your skin. I use my silisponge semi-frequently in order to save on makeup usage so it doesn't all get sucked up into my blending sponge and it works great for just that.

I can't recommend it for makeup application
Applies primers in an expectable way but not foundation - not a smooth finish - left marks and streaks all over. I can't recommend it for makeup application.

Bye beauty blender, hello silicone sponge!
I love this little thing! I use bb cream from Tart and it made my face look flawless! I followed the instructions and only patted on my face. I didn't rub. When I went to clean the makeup off by rubbing on a paper towel to see what was left, and it was clean!!! All the product was on my face! Best $8 invested in makeup ever!
