Strong Magnets, Not "Fast Charge" but Close Enough
09/20/2019 Update:It's been almost a year since I got these and I felt like I had to chime in after seeing all the reviews and photos on this product. I've been using the same adapter head on my phone between 2 phones now and while it's a bit dirty, it's still perfectly in-tact and working perfectly fine. I don't pull it out often nor do I drop my phone.Original Review:I just got these in today and was really excited. My current device uses USB-C but I own a lot of Micro USB devices where the constant plugging and unplugging of cables has had a negative effect on both the cable and ports so I absolutely love this idea. The adapters are fairly magnetic and stay connected to the cable unless tugged on firmly.I have been unable to get "fast charge" to work on my Samsun Galaxy S8+, including flipping the cable and the adapter around but it's not slow charging either. It's a relatively decent charge speed that is only slightly worse than fast charge.Attached are my charge speed comparisons and better images of the connectors as they aren't shown well in the listing if you wanted to compare to previous gens.

Absolute rubbish
Don't buy this if you will ever need to use a standard non-magnetic cable with your devices. I received these cables last night and inserted the USB-C connector into my iPad, but then forgot to bring the magnetic charging cable in to work with me today. Irritating, but I figured I'd just remove the connector for the day. Imagine my surprise when I pull it out and it tears itself in half leaving the plug in the device. I had to spend 5 minutes with a pair of pliers trying to remove it without damaging the jack. Out of curiosity I then tried to remove the one I had in my keyboard, and the same thing happened! These are absolute rubbish, stay away if you don't want to risk permanently damaging you devices.

Two of these broke on the first day
I have the 3rd gen and 7th gen versions of these cables from Netdot and I love them. When I saw the 10th Gen cables I went all in and bought nine of them to replace all my earlier gen cables since the new ones are not backward compatible. About one third of them worked -- many of them only worked sometimes. I had to connect and disconnect them several times to get my devices to start charging. That in itself was unacceptable, bu then two of the parts that plug into devices (it was the USB-C ones) broke apart the first day of use just by being inserted and removed a few times. I am sending them all back -- these Gen10 ones need to be re-engineered. I will stick with the Gen7 ones.

LOVE THESE!
I just LOVE these charging cables. I've had them for 6 months now, and I'm ordering more. I ordered two different kinds and this design won.Pros-Easy connectionFast chargingSturdy connectionConvenience in carLess damage on charging portGreat for anyone with bad fingers or hands.Less trouble trying to find the right cable.Fab for kids to prevent them ruining the charging port on devices with repetitive in and out.Need to know.-Must use the tool to remove otherwise you will break it.-clean port of dust or dirt every month.ConsIf you pull out charging port more than a few times or over and over, it will separate mechanics of port mechanism.

They are fragile, but work, considering that
I go these be a breakaway connector for my keyboard. They work great for that. But it's a really easy application. After seeing lots of complaining about durability, I thought I would check them. I tried the pull the lightning connector out, and it wouldn't - it's all one piece of plastic. But the ring around the connector shattered in the jaws of my pliers - it's a magnet. I can't imagine that they would do this in normal use, but it broke way easier than I expected. On the USB-C connector, I was able to just pull the USB-C side right off of the pins. Completely unusable after that. It was surprisingly easy to do this. I don't know that it would happen in careful use, but it wouldn't shock me if it did. There is one thing this gets really right. The connectors are set inside of a plastic oval boss. This means that the connection can't be made until the connector is aligned properly. I had a competing magnet cable (not this one) that fried a computer because it would allow you to connect it in an incorrect orientation, frying a keyboard. I don't think this type will allow that mistake.

Magnetic Tips limit cord wear.
I purchased the Net dot charge cords because of frustration with lightening cords. I tend to leave my iPads plugged in while Reading or using them and can’t seem to get a cord to last longer than two months. I thought something that would disconnect if I applied torque on the cord would solve my problem. To some extent it has. Lightning ports on iPads wear quickly if used while charging and I just had to spend quite a bit to get one replaced. The idea was good and Using this cord seems to limit port damage since every time I touch the cord it shears oFirst. The main disadvantage is this cord slowly charges a 12” iPad Pro which takes several hours to charge even with factory components. . On smaller devices using a micro usb an iPad mini, or iPhone this tip works like any other. On an iPad Pro using the correct Apple charging block, the charge time is slower. I’m still testing to get an actual percentage. . Comparing the magnetic tip on the net dot gen 10, an Apple tip, the Net dot is about .002” shorter. The cord itself is braided but the thread casing material is slightly thin. The junction between the cord and magnetic socket tip is fragile and there is no bend protection on the cord tip interface. I made one using a pen spring. The tips have a strong magnet and change easily & quickly. Disconnecting requires a breaking motion and the tip remains in the device (this limits port wear) if you want to remove the tip from the device pull straight. It’s a good system.

Good when new
They work good when they’re brand new but as they get dirty inside, they need constant maintenance, the connector dropped on the ground after it needed cleaning and the the plastic broke around it and allows dirt to get in to the charging port.I’ve changed all my charging cables to this junk and now I need to keep buying from them because it’ll cost to much to switch to another company.Getting the company to send replacement connectors is like pulling teeth.

Great product, great tech for the kid's
Extremely happy with NetDot. I bought this item due to kids damaging device ports due to forcing and damaging original connector ports. With this product this issue is solved with magnet connector and no need to take notice of which way you are connecting. Great product, fast charge, and compatible with my samsumg S7, S9 and Sansung tablet, IPhone 8,9 and IPad

Magic
Works really well and saves wear and tear on my iPhone socket. Does fall off sometimes if you are fiddling around, but it's pretty strong. Very happy. Sometimes it will pull the plug insert out of your phone so I always unplug at a slight angle and no problems. I can live with that.

Funcional
Se le mira resistente y práctico, ya que algunas veces se olvida que está conectado y al tirar de él simplemente se desconecta sin caer nuestro dispositivo.

Bright led is always on
Bright Blue led on the cable never turns off. You can't sleep next to this cable because it's so bright.
