## Description

Hydrocolloid dressing is a wafer type of dressing that contains gel-forming agents in an adhesive compound laminated onto a flexible, water-resistant outer layer. A hydrocolloid dressing is biodegradeable, breathable, and adheres to the skin, so no separate taping is needed. ## Features

- When in contact with wound exudate, the hydrocolloid dressing will produce a viscous gel, providing a moist wound environment to promote the healing process. The hydrocolloid dressing has high absorption and is comfortable to use. Usually can be used continuously for no more than 30 days.
- The 0.3mm ultra-thin hydrocolloid dressing makes it easier to observe the wound and fits the contours of the body.
- The hydrocolloid wound dressing will not irritate sensitive skin, nor will it stick to the wound or infected area, thereby reducing the pain during dressing removal and replacement.
- Sterile and individually packaged: Each dressing is manufactured in sterile equipment and packaged individually to prevent wound infection.
- Hydrocolloid dressing is indicated for the lightly to moderate exuding wounds, for example: pressure ulcer(stage I and II) leg venous ulcer, first and second degree burns, skin grafts and donor site post-operative and traumatic wounds.

**Q: Is this fsa eligible like duoderm?**
A: I do not know the answer other than to check the list for FSA eligible products and see if it is on there.  Wound care products and 
bandages are covered so I like it would be.

**Q: Will this keep a healed / completely closed  old scar moist? Or will it draw moisture out of the skin?**
A: The product is not for scar, it used on unhealing wound and less possible leave scar after healing than unused. Skin always breath and exhale moisture, wound also exude, moisture trapped by Hydrocolloid dressing, which make skin and wound moisturized.

**Q: Is the .5mm comparable to Duoderm extra thin?**
A: I do not like the extra thin. So to answer your question, they are just about the same.

A: China
