Great for making low-carb rolls/cloud bread.
Excellent pan! I am on a low-carb diet and was making a recipe from the original Atkins diet book called 'Diet Revolution Rolls'. I could not get them right on an ordinary pan as the recipe called for and Googled around looking for more information. I found that a muffin top pan was recommended. I got this one because it was small enough to fit in my convection oven, since I don't have a working large oven. It worked very well for that recipe.Recently I found a recipe online for 'Carb Free Cloud Bread' which is pretty much the same as 'Diet Revolution Rolls' as far as ingredients and mixing goes. The only exception is you make 10 rolls instead of 6, and you refrigerate your rolls in an airtight bag overnight.Since I only had one muffin pan, I also used a plain cookie-sheet type pan for the 10 rolls/bread slices. The 6 I baked on the plain pan came out OK, but the ones in this muffin top pan were FAR superior, having a very consistent shape and thickness. I bagged up the breads and am taking them on a visit to my mom's, so I can eat take-out burgers by replacing the buns with these rolls.And so I'm stopping by to buy more muffin top pans. I'm getting another of these and a steel muffin top pan of the same size, in order to see if the material makes a difference. It's going to make sticking to my low-carb diet (for health reasons) very much easier.

The item is fine, however the box was saturated in some sort ...
The item is fine, however the box was saturated in some sort of oil that had a red tinge to it and smelled rancid. Looks like transmission fluid, but did not smell like it. Not the shipping box, the item box and the bubble wrap it was wrapped in. nasty mess. I washed the piece of pottery three times, but I know I will have to wash it a couple more times before using it.

Yummy Muffins
Very pleased with this purchase. Looks lovely on the table (and doesn't leach, wear down, flake off anything). Creates lovely muffin tops.
