HighwindLuggage Tag Initial Bag Tag - Fully Bendable Tag w/Stainless Steel Loop

I bought these to put on our luggage for an upcoming trip. I love the way there is a flap over your personal information so that you can't see it just from looking at the tag. I put two of these on each piece of luggage our family will be taking to easily identify it. I love that the attachment is a metal band with threaded screw to attach to the luggage. It looks like it will stay really secure. I will do another review when we come back from the trip to see how well they withstood the rigors of the airline industry. We put tags on the luggage we'll be checking as well as our carryons. I love the sturdiness of these tags. They are rubber so they bend but they are not flimsy at all. I'm hoping they will stand up well throughout our trip. We purchased 16 of these tags, two for each piece of luggage we carried with our first and last initial on them. They worked fantastic! The metal cable and screw stayed on perfectly and it made identifying our luggage so easy both at the airport and on the shuttle buses. So glad we purchased them. They should last forever!! Great Investment.

This, thick, rubbery luggage tag was better than I expected (I have admittedly low expectations for luggage tags). While the black rubber with bright initial helped us easily identify our bag, the true star here is the way it is attached to your bag. It comes with a steel, screw-on "chain" looped through a metal grommet. For the first time I actually felt like my luggage might arrive with the tag still attached - and sure enough it was! My parents, who travel extensively and have currently resorted to zip ties to keep their current luggage tags attached, have asked that I get them several of these.

Actually, the product is quite good...in terms of materials, functionality and color.The major shortcoming is in the basic structural design...the identifying letter/monogram ONLY appears on one side...and is completely black on the opposite side. I was just packing for an upcoming trip and I could not find the baggage tag which had turned around on my all black Tumi luggage...it just blended in obviating the major purpose of luggage identification I need it for! They need to put the identifying letter on BOTH sides!

Having worked for the airlines, I've had numerous luggage tags. Eventually, they all have cracked or broken for various reasons (even two that claimed to be 'indestructible'). So far, this bendable tag has held on longer than many others! I am now ready to order tags for my husband's bags!

I have unusual looking luggage but after my husband inadvertently picked up the wrong bag at baggage claim, I said "Never again"! When the other person's bag arrived with no tag on it we presumed baggage handlers had pulled them off mine. Most every time I fly into SFO, they break my Briggs and Reilly luggage. It is guaranteed for life but very inconvenient to take it in for repair. It is unlikely that someone else will have a bag that looks like mine but I have learned that this is not enough. This ID, assuming it won't be ripped off should do the trick, making it even more difficult that someone will have a bag just like mine and with My initial. The tag is tough and flexible - easy to spot. Good idea to prevent confusion and inconvenience of a lost bag.

The luggage tags were well made and "fully bendable" as described. They attached to the luggage with a very sturdy steel cable ring and screw lock. Unfortunately when we arrived at our honeymoon destination, the tags were missing from both of our bags. Obviously the tags didn't fall off of both bags after the first use, so we're pretty sure that the spiteful baggage handlers removed them (carry-ons had to be checked at gate due to full flight). So from now on we'll use the airline luggage tag cards that they provide near baggage check, as it's not worth going to the trouble of fastening a nice luggage tag that will be ganked by airport staff. Of course we always keep basic contact info within the bag in case of a situation such as this. Anyway, they were cool bag tags and it would have been nice to have kept them.

They worked great. If a set of gift tags are to be given, please send the same as what is ordered. The gift tags were not usable for us. I am adding a bit now because it is over a year since we ordered these. We have ordered more. Not because they did not hold up, but because they worked well. they have been added to many cases, luggage, etc., of which I am unable to specifically detail, due to what they are and for waht they are used for. Suffice it to say that They work and in one event, an item was left in a public place that was very valuable. It was promplty returned because the contact information worked.
