This shower is great. We absolutely love it. A couple of things to be aware of: 1) this is NOT a do it yourself project. We had a general contractor put it together, and we still ended up having to have a licensed plumber come in and re-do some of the pipes and clamps. The tubing and clamps it came with weren't the highest quality so when the water actually starts pumping through there, the pressure is too much for them, and we ended up with some pretty big leaks the first few times we used it. Luckily, the space right behind the bathroom wasn't finished so it didn't do any damage, and we were able to see the leak. If you have a finished space right behind this, you probably won't see it... but, a $20 trip to the hardware store for some higher grade tubing and clamps, plus about an hour and a half with a licensed plumber, and it works perfectly now. I would recommend you do that prior to final installation. 2) Also, double-check with the seller on exactly which model you are getting. The one we got didn't match the one we ordered. We got the newer model, which is nice, but it didn't match the picture and specs. We made it work, and the seller made it right, so it was all good. But, double check it.I will also add that the seller on this product is great. When it came time for delivery, the shipping company said they had to charge extra to delivery to a residential property, as well as charge extra for a lift gate. The seller covered all of those fees, no questions asked. Plus, as we were working through the leak issues - trying to figure out the problem - he worked with us to make the situation as right as possible. And, when my husband brought the remote into the shower with him (the remote isn't waterproof) and damaged it, the seller happily sent us a replacement. He's been very kind and cordial and good to work with.Finally, I will say that we get tons compliments on this shower. Everyone who visits our home says that that shower is the coolest thing they've ever seen. Our bathroom is super small and we didn't want a gym-locker room style shower in there, so we were excited to find this. It was a bit of work, but now that it's in there, it's great. We use it every day. My husband loves the steam and the multiple jets. I love that it sits outside of the walls and above the floor, so if we have issues, it's easier to fix than something that is built-in. In the end, this is the perfect product for our needs. I would definitely recommend it - but just be prepared for the above and you'll enjoy it.

We bought this a few weeks ago and I wanted to wait to write my review to make sure it was as great as it seemed. As others have noted, it's extremely difficult to put together (we had a plumber involved and he said the directions were worthless), but the seller of the product is EXTREMELY responsive, and always got back to us with answers to questions within minutes. This made the set-up process a lot easier, as we could check with him when we got really confused.Once we got it all set up, we fell in love. We mainly purchased this because we wanted a steam shower without going through all the headache of running a gas line into the bathroom and finding a way to run a steam unit. The steam aspect of this machine works like a dream. It's seriously steamy in there within a few minutes, and the steam stays totally contained in the unit.The other features, while they weren't important to us when buying, have turned out to be really cool. The hand-held shower is great when you finish steaming and just want to rinse off, but the rainfall shower is amazing for your actual shower -- I've never had a shower come from above before, and it's game-changing. So cool. I haven't really figured out why I would use the shower jets that come out from the side, but I'm sure someone loves this also.You know what's a super cool added bonus? The shower has a speaker system that very easily links up to your bluetooth. It's not state of the art audio, but it's totally fine, and you can put on your jams while you shower or steam.One minor thing to be aware of -- my husband and I are both relatively small people. This is a very small unit. If you're a bigger person, this really might not be for you. When I sit down on the little ledge to enjoy the steam, I take up most of the unit. If you're large and/or have mobility issues, you might find it difficult to maneuver within the shower, get yourself seated and standing, etc.If you're thinking of buying this shower, DO IT! If you have problems during set-up, contact the seller and they'll be handled right away.

Don't waste your money.. Get something a little bit more durable and expensive. After purchasing this item, I had a professional plumber who is also a contractor come by to put this together. It had missing pieces and also very cheap hose. We replaced the hose and yet still water was splashing all over the place. They had to reduce the water pressure before it could work but once in a while, we will see water underneath it. The remote control will work for a couple of days and the next day it stops. I contacted customer service and I was told that I will receive all the missing items and they sent only one piece. They also told me that I will receive a refund for the additional items I purchased but I never did. To summarize, they have poor customer service as well as poor product. I really regret for making this purchase.

Overall, this is a pretty good buy for the money. If you work during the day, be prepared to miss work to receive shipment, as it could only be delivered between 9am and 4pm M-F. The assembly instructions are very vague, but it's not too difficult to put together. The screws provided are cheap and strip easily- use a manual screwdriver if possible, or buy new screws. Our bathroom is very small, so we purchased the 36 x 36 and it is almost too small- if possible, go with at least 40 x 40, as there is very little room inside. There is no instruction manual, so you just have to play with the control panel to figure out how to operate everything. The jets only spray a fine mist, so don't expect a massage- only provides a stinging sensation at most. The rainfall shower head feature is nice.
