The only complaint that I have about this device is that it rides right across the site of my injury (see photos). That often results in slight swelling and more pain. Also, I felt that the device needed adjustment to better straighten my finger. So I tried several methods to heat the plastic and bend it into a better shape. I even tried boiling it. No luck. The shape seemed to stay the same. Also, I measured my finder as instructed, and ordered a device. It was too small and I had to order a much large device. Not sure if I did the measuring correctly. So pay attention when sizing. Nothing seemed to help, not to mention that the material they were made of got dirty and the foam fell apart really easily. Additionally, the foam would stay wet, was uncomfortable, and useless after a few days. I initially liked that these splints were simple, lightweight, and discrete (I got tired of people asking me what was wrong). This finger splint was very comfortable to wear and I did not have to remove it to wash my hands, etc. Within about 2 weeks I noticed a considerable improvement in the finger and after a month, the finger was nearly back to normal.
