Permanent mark on visible part of screen plus LCD didn't appear to be "New". Look elsewhere or be prepared for a headache!
When I first got the screen, I was surprised at how flimsy it was. Just taking it out of the bag caused it to flex nearly 20 degrees. There was no film over the front of the LCD to protect it and the one I received already had fine scratches on it. But my client wanted his iPad back pronto and told me that if it worked, use it anyway so I went ahead and installed it. Imagine my surprise when I booted up the iPad only to see a red bracket-like mark on the screen! At first I thought that it was part of the background image but it stayed in the same spot no matter which way I rotated the iPad. Then I thought "maybe there is film on the screen and I just didn't see the edges, or maybe it's a sticker on the new LCD that I missed" or something that got stuck to the digitizer during installation. I lifted up the digitizer and carefully checked both sides of the glass: no red mark, no sticker, nothing. Then I checked the edges of the LCD but clearly there wasn't a peel-away film on it that I'd overlooked. So I took out my trusty LED light and lit up the screen at an angle. Sure enough, right on the screen is a red bracket shaped mark! Now I'm thinking to myself "what the heck?" So very, very carefully I tried applying a little lens cleaner with a professional lens cleaning cloth, but the mark was still there and it wasn't coming off! Now I don't know how anyone else would feel, but I cannot hand over a "repaired" iPad and tell my customer "by the way, there's this funny red mark on your new screen. It won't go away so you're just gonna have to ignore it!" If this is the seller's way of making sure an unscrupulous buyer doesn't try to return a broken screen claiming that it's the seller's product, I know of at least five different ways a seller can mark their product in a way that's either invisible to the naked eye or at least so that it is definitely not "in your face!" By the way, if you have the same problem I did but you already installed the screen and don't want to go through the hassle of disassembling and returning it, there is a way to remove that mark without damaging the screen. I just don't know if I can post it here. So if you want to know how, drop me a line and I will let you know.

Works great!!
I hesitated ordering this LCD screen to fix my iPad because of some bad reviews on here. When I received it in the mail it was packaged very well but when I took it out of the package it have finger prints and scratches on it. With further investigation I figured out it had a protective film on it. I put it in my iPad and took the protective cover off and it was completely scratch free! I would definitely buy this again if heaven forbid my iPad breaks again!

DOA
As others also reported, I too got a DOA (dead on arrival) LCD. In my case, my old LCD still works, it just has a vertical line across so I know for a fact that this new LCD was faulty upon arrival. The seller was responsive for a refund, but it’s a waste when you have to cover for shipping.

Not good quality
I didn’t like the screen because it is dark around all the edges and poor quality all around.

UPDATE...failed after 2 months!
I was a bit nervous that it would be a good quality LCD, but am very satisfied. Replaced the screen in my son's iPad mini. Turned out great. I would recommend finding an adhesive set somewhere though. The old adhesive does not deal well after being removed.UPDATE:The screen stopped working after 2 months. It will work for a minute or two, then get lines through it and black out. Very frustrated. Time for another repair.

Happy with purchase
I've replaced lots of iPad and iPhone digitizers, but this is the first time I've had to replace the iPad LCD. It works beautifully! I'm very happy with it and would buy it again if I ever needed another. It shipped quickly and arrived on time. Thanks!

Dead on arrival
LCD was dead on arrival, I know this because my original lcd had lines but still worked. The one I purchased was installed but did not work. Put the old one back in and still works. Very disappointing :(
