I had to buy them separately to make it to package directions. Deducted a star because of it. 5 pieces of bark, 2 cinnamon sticks and 2 star anise is what is required. I got only 2 cinnamon sticks and 5 star anise for the whole pack. However, it tasted great and with the spices mentioned, it makes many batches of drink. Just those 3 items with water make almost 3 quarts.
