Correcto

Have sensitive skin? Embrace the Aloe!
•• How I Achieved The Best Shave Of My Life ••I have sensitive skin, prone to razor burn and irritation. I had given up on a baby smooth shave until I bought a Parker double-edged safety razor. After considerable research, I decided on some accompanying accessories: shaving soap, brush, blades, and aftershave. My brush and main shaving soap are from Edwin Jagger, and I couldn't be happier with them. I've not only found the best shave of my life... but now I realize now important those accessories are.•• Non-Irritating ••If you have sensitive skin like me, irritated hairs SUCK. This is the only product I've used to date that results in zero irritation. No redness, irritated pimply hairs. I use a bowl lather with my coincidentally Edwin Jagger badger hair brush.•• How Does It Smell? ••It's mild and dare I say nice. It's not much of a consideration, in my opinion. The smell disappears within 10-15 minutes, and if you're a scented-product type of person, will become masked by whatever else you use.•• A Note On Price ••$20 might seem like a lot, but this puck is going to last a long time. For me, it works better than any shaving cream I've ever used. It looks like new after a month and a half. Well, there are a couple of badger hairs stuck in it, but that's par for the course!•• Alternatives I've Tried ••I tried Proraso's sensitive shaving soap (because it's cheap) on the recommendation of many shaving enthusiasts. I tried it with brand new blades, different lengths of beard, and every time I ended up with irritation. I also noticed, even using the same amount of water, it lathers much lighter than the Edwin Jagger. I find that the Jagger coats nicely, more thickly, and you can literally feel the protection. Proraso kinda just felt like regular shaving cream out of a can. It might be an amazing budget item for some people's skin, but unfortunately, I can't use it.Ditto with a non-aloe Taylor of Old Bond Street product. Great smell, and it coated really nicely... but I ended up with major irritation.•• Conclusion ••This shaving soap has helped me attain the best shave of my life. I'm jubilant about it and its companion accessories. If you'd like to read about how I chose my razor, soaps, blades, and aftershave, check out my comments section below. Amazon doesn't like links posted directly in reviews, so I will post a link in my comments.Best of luck with your shave. I hope this helped in some small fashion.

Delicato e profumato
Riporto il giudizio di mio marito al quale l'ho regalato. Avendo la pelle sensibile si è trovato molto bene e non sono comparsi segni di irritazione (molto frequenti di norma) e lascia un profumo delicato ma persistente per molte ore.

Excellent soap without all the frills, available at a great price
Traditional shaving opens up a whole world of options when it comes to picking what equipment and consumables to use.Safety razor or straight? Long handled or stubby? Open comb or closed? Badger brush or bristle? Soap or cream? The options go on and on and within these options, you have an endless array of brands, scents and subtypes to choose from. All this goes a long way to making your shaving experience incredibly personal.Edwin Jagger is an established and respected brand within the world of traditional shaving. Their safety razors have found fans in the beginner and experienced market alike. In response to this popularity, Edwin Jagger have an impressive collection of products for those who want their shaving experience to go beyond smearing some gunky gel from a canister onto their face. Many people, like myself, got into shaving with a safety razor because sensitive skin made shaving with a cartridge razor a big no-no. A single blade and the right choice of products can make all the difference for someone who had previously experienced irritation, shaving bumps or rashes. Edwin Jagger's Aloe Vera soap is a product designed to further enhance the shaving experience for those with sensitive skin. This soap comes in a black plastic pot with the soap shrink-wrapped and loose inside. In this respect, it is a less premium package in appearance than other soaps which often come in a wooden bowl. Once unwrapped, however, the pleasant smell of the soap begins to win you over. It's difficult to describe the smell of the soap. Clean would be one adjective, natural is another. Adding pleasant and subtle probably wraps it up, but there are no identifiable scents that you might find in other soaps, which often use strong bergamot, lavender, sandalwood and almonds extracts, among others. The soap lathers well, given enough time and effort. I've lathered in both a bowl and directly onto my face. This soap produces a rich, meringue-like lather that I have found does soften and lubricate the face well, though perhaps not as well as some creams I've tried. Nevertheless, using even an aggressive razor such as the Muhle R41, I've found the soap to allow for a pretty forgiving shave.Even after several shaves, the puck of soap does not appear to have diminished at all. It would appear that this product is impressively economical, even by soap standards. In summary, this is a quality soap that dispenses with the wooden bowl, fancy packaging and gilded edges to leave a simple, pleasant product that provides an excellent shave at an equally impressive price point.
