PuraSense Essential Oil Diffuser - Aromatherapy Humidifier - Ultra Quiet - Compact Design - Ionizer with Color Changing Lights

I've had this little essential oil diffuser running in my living room for several days so far. It is absolutely silent and the timer DOES work and shuts it off after the amount of time you choose. This makes a fabulous nightlight and the diffusing part works wonderfully.I have never owned one of these before, so I was unsure what to expect. Well, it turns out that it's a tiny little humidifier that you add several drops of an essential oil to the water tank. This one is better than I expected because it includes a night light feature with many light settings and the timer is wonderful! I have a houseful of kids and I don't need another thing to remember and with the timer, I don't have to remember anything. It shuts itself off. The instructions also say it will shut itself off at anytime the water level gets too low, so that's a nice safety feature, too.The tank also doesn't run dry quickly either. I've had it run through several hour long cycles on just one tank of water and haven't had to refill yet, but the essential oil smell is still coming out of it, along with a visible water vapor that will leave a damp spot if you put your hand in its path. Not sure how it's able to run that long without a refill, but it does!I look forward to this being handy when my kids get sick. I can imagine the uses by adding eucalyptus oil for head colds, tea tree oil to clean the air. Pretty excited about this little thing. It was a good buy.

So my wife has been on me to order a diffuser for myself. She bought one over a year ago and she swears by the beneficial effects of using the diffuser from help with headaches to relaxation or mental stimulation. She even bought a book on the various oils and their uses and how best to combine. Needless to say I have been accusing her of witchcraft and the words quack and medicine may have slipped out of my mouth.In any case, I ordered the Purasense Essential Oil Diffuser to get her off my back. The diffuser arrived quickly and was well packaged. It's nice and small measuring about 6 inches high with a diameter of about 3 inches. It is very simple to work, you twist off the main piece and then fill water up to the line inside the 'well'. You then add 2-3 drops of your favorite essential oil to treat whatever ailment you might have. The diffuser has 4 different time settings (30mins up to 180mins) and quite a few different color settings as well. I have to admit, it works very well for the Lemon oil that I'm using right now and best of all it makes like no noise. So if you are looking for an oil diffuser with a timer, that is ultra small and perfect for your work desk and that has lots of different light settings......then this is the diffuser for you.I would recommend it.

It's small enough that it looks good in my bedroom and I love that it has a timer on it so I can diffuse some oils as I go to sleep but it doesn't stay on all night. Adding that little extra moisture to my room will surely help this winter. I add any essential oils to mine and like to change the oil depending on my mood. If I'm struggling with a cold or feeling like I'm on the verge of getting a cold I add peppermint to my diffuser...or if I am having trouble sleeping, I add some lavender.I'm not a huge fan of the lights at night but if I do keep a light on, I go for one of the muted blue color as it disrupts me the least. During the day though I am happy to flip through the choices of colors until I find one that feels good to me.This unit is easy to use, is quiet and steams a decent amount of mist out so that I feel like it's not only adding essential oil to my environment but also keeping some humidity in the air.

I wanted to use this diffuser a few times before writing my review - It's been about 2 weeks now, in our ~100 sq ft workroom, and it's been simply magical. I had never used essential oils before, and decided to get this after experiencing how well essential oils can not just cover up the smells of day-to-day work, but can relax me and make everything feel a little less hectic.Pros:- Like others have said, it's compact! Honestly, if you're not trying to diffuse up a ballroom, size doesn't matter too much. Essential oils diffuse on their own even without the help of a diffuser, so having a couple drops in a mister is more than enough for most room situations.- QUIET.- Simple to use with easy to program durations.- It can act as a humidifer if you don't want to put any oils in itCons:- It's small! I guess one downside of a small water tank is the length of time it can run for. However, I wouldn't run a mister for >3 hours anyway.. a few hours is plenty for getting the oils out.Overall, a wonderful addition to any room (or multiple rooms, it's so easy to carry!). It has definitely made night call in the hospital much more bearable.

At first glance, product comes in a small well packaged box. My initial reaction was, "this little thing is goinng to emit how much?" Well what do you know? I set it up for 30 minutes the first time and closed my bedroom door to do other stuff. After about an hour my wife walked into the bedroom and noticed the mellowing scent of lavender.Later I worried that my 2 year old son would reach it and start messing with it. He did manage to spill water out of it with little effort. Although I don't anticipate him reaching for it too frequently, I didn't like that the water would easily spill out. This didn't change my mind about what I really think about this product. I am eager to bering it into my office. Lavender is my scent of choice and unlike other diffusers, this small one has proven to cover a decent amount of space.The color changing light is also a win for this produc as it can be adjusted to bring or dim mode. My kids are big on night lights when it comes to late night "pee pee" hours and I'm betting this product will suffice in more than one area.
