I really like this product and the pizza cutter that comes with it is just the most awesome thing. I did not know I needed this pizza cutter until I used it the first time and was like "so that's what I was missing when I make pizzas"! The handle for the stone makes getting it in and out of the oven so much easier than trying to grab the edges with pot holders.Also, I'd recommend heating the over to a little higher temperature than you normally would for any pizza (homemade or frozen) and then bake a little longer than normal. I had to play around with my set up as my oven is not that great to begin with. Instead of 350°, I set at 400° with the stone already in the oven and instead of putting the pizza right in at the preheat beep, I waited an extra 10 minutes to really heat up the stone. Then I added 10 extra minutes to my cook time. Made all the difference in getting a crunchier, firmer pizza crust instead of mostly baked mush.

love the square shape. would be great for storage, but did not read or study about the maintenance prior to purchase. looks great, but is not something we want to deal with. will gift it to someone instead of pay to return it.

I was skeptical buying this product due to the many reviews. But I decided to take the chance as a Christmas gift for my husband who had just found a hobby in baking.Many reviews say that there are bad chemical smells when they cooked with this baking stone, but we did not encounter any of the sort. We unwrapped it, washed it and let it dry overnight, and baked it at max temperature for a couple hours... as per the directions said. So far we have used it three times to make pizza, and there have been absolutely no smells or difficulties. Baking on the stone made the pizza crust taste absolutely soft and DELICIOUS!!! It's WAY better than cooking on a metal surface, in my opinion.As long as you follow the preparation instructions and the aftercare, the stone should be fine. After the initial wash you want to keep any liquids and oils from touching the stone. This has been my husband's favorite thing we got on amazon, thus far.

GET IT!
I LOVE IT! Finally got to use it this weekend for my homemade bread, which is why I bought it (not for Pizza) and it worked amazing. The bread crust was the best ever. Now I want to try a pizza on it! Some of the reviews stated there stone gave off an odor and smoke when they did the first heating you need to do before the first use. I want to say I did NOT experience any of that. When I got the stone, I rinsed it well (both sides) with cold water, then it dried until the next night. I put it in a cold oven, then turned the oven to the hottest temperature and left in in there for one and a half hours, I had NO problems what so ever. My homemade bread did not stick to the stone either, and I did not do anything to the stone, no flour, no oil, just put the bread dough right on it, it worked perfectly. I would definitely recommend this product.

Amazing Cordierite Pizza and Bread Stone
This product arrived at the right time and it's so lovely. I have used different type of Cordierite stone and i can tell when i see a good one. For me this is a WOOOW, it's just so perfect and i am happy to have bought this Cordierite pizza and bread stone.I love it because it is very safe and healthy to use, it has fallen and has no scratch on it and it's a shock resistance. I love this stone and i am definitely going to get for my mum and siblings.I really want to say thanks for this amazing product, i wouldn't have bought a better product than this. It is serving the purpose i bought it for, the gift attached to this product has been really helpful. I am going to advertise this product to every one because i believe it will be useful in every kitchen. Thanks you again and again.I recommend this for everyone. I will definitely buy a gain.

Perfect! Very durable.
I have always wanted a baking stone and this one fits the bill. I was in love when I saw that it had a metal rack to lift the stone in and out of the oven and a very long rolling knife to sweeten the deal. As long as you follow the super easy instructions to care for the stone you shouldn't have any issues and will have it for a long time. It doesn't just bake pizza either. I bake bread and rolls too. Everything comes out golden brown and its really easy to lift it out of the oven. If you are trying to decide on a stone, this is the one.

Cutter is useless, no recipe book.
The pizza stone comes with one page of instructions for how to prepare it for use and cleaning, but the company is supposed to email a recipe book. I never received that (I searched through my inbox and spam folder), and there doesn’t seem to be a way of contacting the company. It would be nice to have some ideas on how to use the stone, how long it should be preheated, how long to bake on it at what temp, etc. Our first attempt at making pizza on it did not turn out well, but that’s probably because we never got instructions from the company on what to do. Also, the cutter it comes with is useless. It is just a thick piece of metal. To be completely honest, a butter knife would cut the pizza better. Not happy woth the lack of customer service here . . .

Will Never Go Back to a Pizza Pan!
I love this Pizza Stone! I've been having the "Girls Night" at my house with my girlfriends and making pizza is the thing to do. I shopped around and found this to be the best value.Super easy to cure, just pop in the oven, high temp for a few hours and let cool. These get super hot, which is why I chose one that came with chrome handles. These provide good stability when removing the pizza from the oven.Best to use corn meal on the surface of the stone and the dough this provides for the best clean up and tasty pizza.Our first pizza was Amazing. Sorry too busy chowing down to take any pictures. hummmmm..... what's for dinner tonight? PIZZA!
