Badger LED Light for Coolers Ice Chests Lids

I read a lot of reviews bashing the brightness of this light. Once it gets dark outside, I find it perfectly bright--enough to read labels, get the correct bevearage, etc. Best of all--it comes on by itself! It also turns off after 20 sec, so the battery will last forever! Great job!ps. the only regret is that I didn't get 2 as they're no longer available, here

Did the activation process, and nothing. Sticky tape does not stay adhered to cooler lid. Bought early for a Christmas gift. Wasted money. So sad.

I bought one for myself last year and we used it in our boat cooler all summer as we are on our boat a lot at night. My Dad and stepdad were obsessed with it so I bought them one too! It really does illuminate the whole cooler and only turns on when its dark and activated by the motion of opening the lid. I have a yeti 110 and was concerned I would need 2 of them to light the whole thing but one is sufficient and I was also concerned about battery life but its still working after 7 months of heavy use.

It didn't work initially, so make sure to rotate the batteries , now it works like a charm !

READ THE INSTRUCTIONS - these are set from the factory to 5 lumen. They can be adjusted to 10 Lumen should you think its necessary. It tells you that right in the instructions and how to do it. You also have the option of using screws vs the 2 sided tape. You can probably get the screws at any local HW store.

Due to the size of my cooler and low light output I had to order 2 of these. They look to be built sturdy for daily/outdoor use but I was dispointed on how little light they provide for the price. There are much brighter portable lighting options out there, but not specifically for coolers

I bought this item for my boyfriend for Christmas. When I received it in the mail it was packaged nicely, not broken, and worked as soon as I put it in a dark area. Haven't stuck it on his Yeti yet since Christmas is still 3 months away but so far everything is wonderful!

Don't waste your time or $$. Worked for about 1 week and then quit working. Also screwed holes into a $90 cooler in order to mount this light, what a waste. Very disappointed. If I could give it 0 stars, that would be more accurate.
