Won't go into advanced detail, but for an RT student who might be struggling to understand the modes, a Nurse who wants to understand them better, or someone working in a rural area or someone who has been out of the field a while and returning, is a good overview of ventilator modes you might not be familiar with. Well written, easy to understand.

This is a good overview book on the various types of mechanical ventilator modes. Tells the critical elements of each, explains well how they differ from basic CMV. Won't go into advanced detail, but for an RT student who might be struggling to understand the modes, a Nurse who wants to understand them better, or someone working in a rural area or someone who has been out of the field a while and returning, is a good overview of ventilator modes you might not be familiar with. Well written, easy to understand.
