Easy to use, didn't break on me
Relaced a glove with this leather this last week and was fairly pleased! The leather didn't break even pulling it very tight and had to pull several stitches out to relace because I didn't lace it correctly. The needle is perfect size, thickness and will not bend even using to pry the old stitching loose. The leather is thick enough to do what is needed and not so stiff that it won't turn when you need it to.If I ever need to replace the leather stitching in a glove again I will be buying this product! My only complaint is that you have to cut the ends to fit into the back of the needle. A pair of wire cutters will get the leather cut narrow enough to screw into the back of the needle easily enough.

Got the job done, superior to the original lace on the glove by far
My son has a fairly new Easton youth glove -- while at a throwing velocity camp the lace holding the pocket of the glove broke in three places. I ordered this kit to repair the glove. This lace is an order of magnitude better than the original lace on the glove. It's about 50% thicker, more pliable, just a good quality leather. The color match to the original red lace on his glove is close enough that you wouldn't know anything was done to the glove. It also comes with instructions on how to get the leather lace onto the awl needle (the so-so needle is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars), and the instructions make the helpful recommendation to put in the new lace as you're removing the old lace.Overall, this got the job done with a much higher quality lace than the original, with just a little initial frustration at getting the lace to stay on the needle until I figured it out ((basically need to trim down the thickness of the end of the lace to nearly exactly fit the diameter of the threaded hole)

Glove reenforcement
This isn’t enough to restring an entire globe, but that’s not what I needed it for. I used it to reenforce a >35 yearold softball glove. It’s the perfect glove and I didn’t want to let it go just yet. This did the job!!

The more traditional threading needle works much better. The lace itself seems a decent quality
Not enough lace to do a while glove and I might as well laced it three times. Every time I tried to pass through a hole the lace came out of the needle even following the instructions to a T!! The more traditional threading needle works much better. The lace itself seems a decent quality.

Fun color, good quality leather
Great, quality leather. Excellent, friendly customer service. I needed to re thread the pocket and heel of my son's glove and this did the job nicely with a fun color he was wanting since it needed repair. Getting the leather to stay in the needle can be a pain but it gets the job done.

Use it wisely
I used this for my baseball glove, and if you use it wisely you can relace the fingers, an I-web web, and you can relace the wrist. All in all this product is great! the only downside is putting the leather into the needle (its very hard to do) and the needle doesn't always penetrate the holes completely to relace the glove

Great product, just not enough to do a whole glove
Durable. Great color. Not enough to do the whole glove.Keeping the leather in the needle was also difficult.
