Currently my favorite carrier to wear my 2 month old
I have a 2 month old and as a first time mom I already have 4 different kinds of baby carriers, and currently this is my favorite. While I enjoy the support of my infantino mei tai, it is cumbersome to tie even when you have the hang of it. I like the ease of the maya ring sling, especially how discreet it is when needing to feed, and have worn my baby to several restaurants with that, but it does start to bother my back a little after a while and digs into my shoulder. Our beco with all the clips and everything is still a lil to big for our baby (didn't purchase the infant insert), and I know we'll get great use out of that in the future for longer trips etc. With all that said, this JJ Cole agility stretch carrier wins for my 2 month old because it is so easy to use (slips on like a shirt/vest) and easy to wash (it is a really nice lightweight jersey material that breathes well even in the Florida heat in black). Now instead of making a trip out alone for just one store/errand, I have the courage to make multiple stops because this carrier is THAT easy to use. Within a week I easily transitioned from wearing my baby with her legs tucked in froggy-style to wearing her with her legs dangling out (baby facing in still). I won't try the front wearing position bc of fear of hip dysplasia issues, but facing in is perfect. I did size up per other reviewers recommendations, and glad I did. I'm about a 6/8 and got a size medium. I was even able to figure out how to discretely nurse on both sides while wearing this the first time at my in-laws with my nieces and nephews around. I don't think that would have been possible if it were snugger, and I feel this size medium gives great support for me. You definitely need to tie the outside supporting wrap to prevent lower back ache/strain (which I didn't do the first time) and it is nice that the outside wrap part has a little pouch/pocket you can slip your phone or anything into. I have been able to wear my baby while eating in restaurants, and while navigating a really busy local Italian market flooded with people having to scootch by, and while shopping. I even wore it into a baby consignment shop, and the girls that work there called to me by saying "the girl with the moby wrap" - so I suppose it fooled even knowledgeable staff into thinking I was able to contain my baby in some complicated wrap - ha! Little did they know it was a much easier process of me tucking the baby in alone in the back of my car before I went in to shop. I could feel the wishful eyes on me from mothers lugging around their heavy car seat in that store, and my baby was exposed enough for other shopping moms to admire her cute little aunt jemima-esque head bow and ask where I got it ;) Did I mention this was a 4 AM feeding induced online shopping purchase? Once I saw that it was available for same day delivery I immediately hit checkout! Okay rambling over- buy this wrap now! I only wish it was available in more colors.

Know your size?
I bought a small because of previous reviews saying to buy a size smaller if your in between. I can’t fit my baby in without feeling like his body is being compressed and uncomfortable. I didn’t wear it long so I don’t have a full feeling of any relief of back pain. Maybe if I bought a size bigger it would be different.

Easy to put on but it's just for parents with small child
I'm a high contact parent so I have lots of baby carrier. This one is probably my less favorite one, even if it's very easy to use.It is light and stretchy but not versitle: you can only wear on the front. It is not too comfortable and ergonomic, because it doesn't distribute the weight so your neck, shoulders and back hurt if you use it long. The mesh fabric is pretty thin and itchy in my neck .I think it's only comfortable to use with very small newborns: my son was comfortable in this wrap just the first two months, then he wasn't support enough or feel secure in it and I have to stop to use.I'm 150 lb and tall 5'7" and usually fit size L with other carrier. This one it's a little small and not too comfortable with a growing baby.Switched to XL when my son was 16 lb but this one was enormous, really too big for me.

My Favorite Carrier--Low Cost Just a Bonus
Don't let the low cost turn you off--I own 6 other more popular carriers up to $200 and I LOVE this one best. I have had this carrier for over 6 months and it is still my favorite. I originally purchased it because being sleep-deprived with 2 kids under 2 I needed something quick and simple with good back support post pregnancy and c-section.. The Ktan, a similar simplified wrap carrier which I had with my first baby, was too much work for me and did not give me enough back support! This Agility works great even at 6 months with a big baby.I love how quick and easy this carrier is; I put the JJ Cole Agility on like a shirt and tie the sash around my waist and go out. Then I can pop the baby in and out quickly and pull the sash up over the baby. I even tuck my phone in the sash pocket too (which I am sure is a big no-no because of scary radiation but it is convenient.) I do need to pull the back of the carrier down low before I put baby in so that it is more comfortable on my back and does not ride up on the back of my neck which can be irritating. Even though the Agility is great, for all day outings where I would carry the baby for many hours I would prefer my Tula, or other structured carrier, but for quick trips up to a few hours or running errands where baby is in and out of the carrier and car seat this one is best. The sizing of this carrier is great for me being plus size with a bigger baby. I am 230 and 5'3" with a larger chest post baby and usually wear an xl-xxl top-- the XL Agility fit me perfectly. I had a Ktan L and XL and I felt one was too big and one is too small but the XL in this seems like its in between. My baby was born 8lbs and 20" I put him in at about 2 weeks old (legs out). He is now 6 months almost 20lbs and wears 12 month clothes (carters) and still fits comfortably even with his head tucked in. I have also put my 31lb 38" 2 year old in it but that was NOT comfortable! My husband has also been able to fit this but has not been as comfortable because the back is too high. He is a 40-42 waist and XXL/18 mens shirt to give you an idea. Despite this, when the baby was inconsolable in the early days and wearing him in the carrier would put him straight to sleep, my husband was able to use it with no issues.Cons:The downside of this carrier is that I can't breastfeed while wearing--Never been able to even when baby was a newborn. I was able to in a Ktan because it is much looser and more adjustable to slip baby down. This is the only reason I purchased an the adjustable structured carrier, my Tula. Also, because of the t-shirt type style that makes this carrier so amazing, there is also no other carry option like other wraps or the Ktan. I like the Ktan for the hip carry option which was nice for my active toddler to have some extra support without being restrained in a carrier.
