EcoReco S3 Electric Scooter

Good scooter. I’ve had a few parts that have needed to be replaced (I’ve done all the repairs myself). Ecoreco support is excellent. Their online parts catalogue and ordering is top notch.

Fast shipping. Very high quality product. It's very fun. My only issue is EcoReco claims 10-20 miles, but realistically I barely get 9.9 miles. I weigh 190lbs and my commute has a few gradual hills (10% at the most). Not sure how anyone can get 20 miles on a charge. Top speed is accurate so long as you're on flat road. Any small incline it goes about 15mph. Any serious steep hills forget about it. 36v battery and the lower end watt motor is just not strong for fast acceleration. If you want a scooter that goes faster and longer at the cost of 2 more lbs, take a look at Eon Scooters. The S3 is a solid choice if 20+ mph and realistic 15 miles isn't a priority.

I just purchased Ecoreco L5 & M5 and road the L5 to work (ATLANTA AIRPORT). secured my scooter in allotted place among on-site security. I get off work an NO scooter. Since the purchase of the ECORECO scooters, I had been searching for better security but thought the bar would be enough to prevent easy theft. ECORECO JUST SELLS SCOOTERS AND THAT'S IT. EVERYTHING ELSE YOU HAVE TO FIGURE OUT ON YOUR OWN. The RIDE is GREAT BUT you won't be able to enjoy it for long

Solid solid stuff. Love the company and their products. I switched from Swagtron. I mean I liked that one a lot too, but at the end of the day, that barely 5 mile range on Swagtron is really just a drag. S3 can easily range 10+ miles which really save you a lot time not needing to recharge everyday. Another thing about Swagtron is it's just TOO long for any standard gym lockers. S3 has Just about the right length. I do miss the front wheel drive tho. It just psycologically feels safer when the scooter "pull" you forward instead of "push" you. But overall, a really solid product. After commuting on it for about 150 miles I still highly recommend it! P.s. Jay is the man. You know it's a good company when everybody in the company cares!
