TS Compatible Ink Cartridges Replacement for B - LC103 XL (4 Black, 2 Yellow, 2 Magenta, 2 Cyan 10-PK) for MFC-J4510DW MFC-J4610DW MFC-J4710 MFC-J470DW MFC-J475DW MFC-J870DW MFC-J875DW

Just installed four new cartridges in the printer. All seem to work just fine. Did test prints after cleaning and alignment and prints were clean and quality seems no different than the Genuine Brother ink cartridges.Pros: Cheap!!! Compatible with my MFC-JD475DW printer. Print quality on standard print and photos is the same as Genuine Brother printer ink.Cons: Cartridges were a little finicky to install. Just had to wiggle them a little to get them in and had to reinsert the blue one twice before it recognized it. Also, be careful when you pull the tab off the side. There was residual ink in the cavity that the tab was blocking. Not sure why this was but maybe it's the fill port on the cartridge. Not sure. But got ink all over my hands from the blue cartridge. Was more careful when I pulled tab off the other three and used a paper towels to clean residual ink out. Removed 1 star because of these issues but so far that's he only problems I have had.Overall, price can't be beat for cost per printed page. I originally bought the Brother MFC-JD475DW printer on sale at a retail store for $50. So far I have spent more than triple that amount for the Brother genuine ink refills (3 full sets of the LC103 cartridges). So if the quality and ink lasts the same over time with the Toner Surplus inks, you will save a massive amount of money! If I see any other issues or quality changes over time I will revise my review.**Update 5/3/2016**So after having these cartridges for more than a few months I am almost ready to order again. Quality of the ink has been consistent and no problems with cartridges being recognized. Definitely recommend these cartridges! Still keeping it at four stars due to the residual ink in the sides when the side tab is pulled off as described above but not a big deal for me.

They work perfect in my Brother printer. Finally, ink that isn't sold at scam prices! I finally don't feel concerned every time I hear the printer fire up. I don't wonder to myself, "if it runs out of ink now, will I need to take out a second mortgage?" No, instead I can just print pages and pages of crap and not even care. Sometimes I print stuff just because it's something to do. Am I responsible for tropical rainforest deforestation? Maybe, I'm not sure. But I bought recycled paper, so GET OFF MY BACK!Most stores will sell you a printer for a price so low you can't even believe it. Seriously I bought one for like $23 bucks one time at Walmart. I was thinking, "wow, what a deal!" But it turns out the ink was like 15 bucks PER CARTRIDGE! And I looked at the quantity of ink in that cartridge and it was comically low (5 ml, really?). They probably don't even print the number of ml per cartridge on most cartridges these days because they know people would grab their pitchforks and revolt.So, I have bought tons of these TS 10K generic cartridges because they are an epic deal and work just like the name brand ones. So, hey scamming printer companies... PUT THAT IN YOUR PIPE AND SMOKE IT! (their pipes are probably made of solid gold because, trust me, they can afford it with their scam pricing).I did read however that newer versions of the model printer that takes these would not take them (the printer company puts in protections to prevent you from saving money by using generic cartridges because they want to scam you and take all your money away so they can buy more solid gold pipes, man I hate printer companies). So make sure you check the manufacture date of your printer and make sure that the latest version of these generic cartridges work with that manufacture date.But bottom line, great cartridges, I would definitely buy again and again and again until all the forests of Earth are destroyed.

Dissappointed. Bought a new MFC-J870DW two weeks ago. My wife ran out of black and cyan so I ordered this as it says it has the new chips. We plugged these two cartridges in and it recognized them...for 1 page...then it said it didn't recognize them. Took them out, pushed them in and it recognized them for ONE page. It won't go past 1 page without having to pull them out and push them in again.The lever of these seem to set a little lower than the others. Might have to return for a refund.UPDATE June 4, 2015: I left feedback to seller and Lisa was VERY quick to respond. She suggested taking the 2 new cartridges out, shutting off the printer, waiting for it to come on, and then putting them in. Unfortunately this didn't work, so they are sending out another set of cartridges. It's possible I got the old ones with the old chips. I will update this again after I get the new cartridges and try them (at least the black and cyan as that is what I am out of).UPDATE June 10th, 2015: We got the replacement cartridges from Lisa, put 3 of them in and they are working perfectly. I changed my review from 1 to 4 stars. I don't know if we got a set of 'old' cartridges initially, but hats off to Lisa and her prompt response for getting us a set of cartridges that work.

Couldn't believe the price when we ordered and kinda expected lower quality (because of price). However, the quality has been just as good as higher priced cartridges. Thank you!Revised review - I reordered these a second time. However, this time, the cartridges were different. Only one of them were labeled with the TSurplus label (the one's we got last time were all labeled with TSurplus and they were packaged differently). I put in the black cartridge (with a different label and looked different than last ones) and after only a couple prints, my printer said it was empty. I took it out and it was obviously not. However, now it is not being recognized by printer, which means everytime I print, I have to take several different steps to do so. When I reordered, I really thought I was getting the same quality product I got the first time...Disappointed.Revised again - I’ve reordered since this last order and everything has been fine with the cartridges. By the way, after contacting the sellers, they made it right!
