The screws that were stripping were the ones supplied with the optic. That was not a DPP issue. Also, DPP did reach out to me personally to address the issue and issue a refund; even though I destroyed the mount. Terrific, prompt customer service. Bought this as a gift for my brother's Taurus GX4. It hangs about 1/8" over each side. He's a meathead, so he went directly to the garage and started with the grinder to try and get it to fit. The front posts didn't line up with his crimson trace 1550 so he ground those down first, making it unable to be returned. If DPP is reading this, please reach out and let me know which plate is compatible with that sight. Hoping to purchase the right one next.
