THE pan for Hungarian Puspokkenyer (or Bishop's Bread)
Puspokkenyer is a very light bread with a texture similar to angel food cake, but richer because the egg yolks are included along with chopped nuts and chopped raisins. Some bakers also include chocolate chips. An English language recipe appears on this link: [...] In this pan the bread comes out with the ridges perfectly sized for individual slices. For a topping I keep a jar of confectioner's sugar mixed with a broken up vanilla bean. While the bread is still warm, I sift on some of this vanilla sugar before slicing. Delicious served with Vienna roast coffee.
