Warm White Solar Light, SimPra Outdoor Stainless Steel LED Solar Step Light; Illuminates Stairs, Deck, Patio, Etc (Warm White 6 Pack)

Here's a photo of what it looks like inside the solar light.The first thing I did was to replace the cheap batteries with Panasonic Eneloop AAA rechargeable batteries so that it will last longer.Some people have noticed that there is no seal between the stainless steel cover and the plastic. It's still water resistant, though, because I noticed that the plastic housing is a one-piece housing. The steel that goes on top is just a decorate cover piece.I like the warm LED color temperature, it is a lot more pleasant than cool blue LEDs.

I bought these to light stairs in my new landscaping. They will absolutely work well for that purpose. They are bright and seem to be sturdy. I like that they came with some charge so I could confirm they all work upon arrival. After "charging" them in direct sun for several hours, they are still shining bright well after sunset.However, I have to knock a star for the "warm white" description. These are absolutely "bright" or "cool" white. My dog jumped at the illumination when I turned them on while unpackaging them, in a room lit with *true* warm white LED lighting. Not a deal breaker, but I wouldn't put them where they'd be shining in my face while trying to relax outdoors at night. The light is too "cool" to be comfortable in something like a patio seating area.Update: still working well, so I'm going to go ahead and give them the 5th star, since solar lights often don't hold up. These are especially doing impressively well since they get slightly limited direct sunlight (fence, trees, walls, etc....they get about 4-6 (winter/summer) hours a day, and will burn for as long after sunset), but still go for hours. If you look at the light on the fence (which is 4+ feet away, so good output!), you can see where they're a bit cooler than "warm" white, but it's not harsh in the configuration I have them in. In the grand scheme of things, I need to be able to do things like take my trash out, walk into my garden (in the winter...I do have a 4-season garden), etc., after dark, and these allow me to do that without using my cell phone flashlight, so, thumbs up!

I really needed some lights for the steps, and these really work well. I ordered 2 sets, and decided I liked them so much, I'm using the second set as pathway lights! I've had other supposedly "water proof" lights, that all have failed. I'm happy to say, these are holding up the best so far!

i like that these illuminate our steps in the back of the house. they are a good amount of yellow light that lets you clearly identify the steps... i really like them but since they are by the water i would like to see how they hold up.

Seriously the best style & color of solar light I’ve ever purchased. Neighbors said they looked so good, they thought they were hard-wired.

Couple of lights not working already in 2 days. We purchased the other lights again.

Not all of them stay on all night but they add a really nice ambiance to the deck in the evening.

Love them. They are great for uplighting and for steps. I will order more.

Likes: bright enough to light a path with a good radius of light projection. They come with replaceable batteries not that I’ve needed to change them yet. No rusting or signs of damage despite being exposed to some heavy rains this summer. They come on at the right level of darkness and stay on from dusk until dawn.Not so great: installing them took some time despite good directions and a template I made myself. The back of the light is metal and non forgiving if you don’t put the screws/nails exactly right. The holes are pretty small keyhole designs making hanging them difficult. There is an on/off switch that must be turned to the on position to charge, but there is no indication which is which so after charging them I must have turned them off so the I installed them a few days later I forgot if they were in or off. Luckily, once installed, they didn’t come on so I pulled them off all the posts and flicked them on and they worked great.

After just 2 days, these lights would stop working after 10 minutes of use. I have seen other reviews that have the same complaint. I will change the batteries to see if that works, if not I want to return for a full refund. Btw, new batteries (Duracell) cost me CD $24 making these pretty expensive overall.Not happy at all.

I installed them 2 weeks ago and they look great. The light is warm but bright enough to make my patio stairs safer. The quality of the material is decent, price appropriate I'd say.

They are great for my purpose, a warm emitting glow, creating a nice atmosphere in my garden. I had a hard time lining them up, so including a pattern for installation will be a plus for future buyers.
