Unreliable
The main function that's needed from a baby monitor is that it is reliable. It comes on when you turn it on and it remains turned on. Unfortunately the Kami monitor is not reliable, we've got decent WiFi in our home (300mb download speed and coverage in the baby's bedroom) but the camera is spotty in whether it remains connected to the internet so on several occasions we have thought it was turned on only to find that it had disconnected and not picked up that the baby was awake and crying. Whenever there is a new update to the app it is hit and miss whether it will keep our camera set up so on some occasions I've found myself putting the baby down for a nap to find out that the camera isn't set up because the app has had an update so now I need to set up the camera next to where the baby is sleeping. It was supposed to make things easier by giving us updates on our phone instead of having to bring a separate baby monitor, it is causing more problems than our old simple and comparatively affordable monitor and I couldn't recommend this product to anyone since it is so unreliable. I have spent a fair amount of time with customer support regarding my issues with the monitor but it has not lead to any solutions and I must assume that it is a software problem.

Can get a better camera for £30
The major problem with this is connection issues. If you re plug it you usually have to reset the app and camera. Don’t bother taking it worth you for the weekend at the in-laws. The only benefit over a £20-30 camera is temp and humidity. The picture quality is worse than a blink camera. For this price you should be able to move the camera via the app- not only can you not but it does not have full movement- some positions cannot be accommodated especially if wall mounting. Customer support is poor.
